Killer Frost I

Crystal Frost was studying to be a scientist at Hudson University and fell in love with her instructor. While working on a project in the Arctic Frost learned that he did not reciprocate her feelings. Distraught, Frost accidentally sealed herself in a thermo frost chamber but survived. Her body was transformed - she could now absorb heat from a living being and project cold and ice. She rechristened herself as Killer Frost and undertook a murderous crusade against men. Her first target was Professor Martin Stein, her former love and one half of Firestorm. She was one of the original members of Secret Society of Super-Villains. Clashing with the hero Firestorm on many occasions, Crystal Frost eventually met her end when she absorbed too much energy from him. This was after she discovered that her powers were slowly killing her.

Dr. Louise Lincoln was a colleague and friend to Crystal Frost. Out of respect, she chose to repeat the experiment that had transformed Crystal. Dr. Lincoln was then reborn as the new Killer Frost. Dr. Lincoln proved to be just as dangerous as her predecessor and sought revenge against Firestorm, who she blamed for her friend's death. Selling her soul to Neron for more power, Killer Frost attacked Hawaii during the Underworld Unleashed event. She succeeded in freezing many of the islands before Superboy and Knockout managed to stop her. Killer Frost was one of the many characters who sought to claim the $1 billion reward offered by President Lex Luthor for the capture of Superman and Batman. She teamed up with other cold-themed villains Mr. Freeze, Icicle, and Captain Cold, but the frosty foursome met with defeat. Killer Frost (alongside Mirror Master) was hired by Dr. Light to participate in an attack on a hospital where Kimiyo Hoshi (the heroic Dr. Light) was recovering. Green Arrow managed to defeat Killer Frost using an arrow filled with Greek fire, something she could not absorb. Lex Luthor, Joker, Cheetah recently invited Killer Frost into the new Injustice League, which she accepted.

Thermokinetic Cryokinesis: can generate extreme temperatures of cold, freeze molecules of moisture that hang in the air to freeze others in place, summon gusts of super-cold air, and can create weapons such as ice-daggers

Energy Absorption: can absorb all of the heat from people's bodies until they freeze to death, heat based-weapon strengthen her.
