    Career

    Kieran Oats became involved in the comics industry in 2005 when he coloured the first issue of The Pact for ShadowLine. Over the next several years he did work, mostly as a colourist and occasionally as a cover artist, for companies including Dabel Brothers Productions, Zenescope, Marvel, Boom!, and Hasbro, among others. He ceased pursuing full-time work in comics in 2009. Following this, he has done occasional work for companies including Dynamite Entertainment, Atlas Comics, and Ardden Entertainment, among others.  

    Personal Life

    Oats was born in 1983 in Whakatane, New Zealand and raised in Edgecumbe. He spent some time in Melbourne, Australia, and currently lives in Awakeri, New Zealand.
