I've heard of this comic book,  haven't read it.  I agree, it's a bit odd it's already a movie; on the fence about seeing it.  I do know it will provide plenty of cos-players a new and easy costume to wear to conventions.   I want my Watchmen.  *blast it*

I don't like the exposed mouth either, I wish it looked more like the diving suit it's supposed to be. That's my only complaint though, these pics have got me psyched! I can't wait for this to come out!

Probably so it's easier to hear him talk when filming.  Kinda weird that they'd change it but I guess it's not really an iconic look yet.  Now if they did that to Spider-Man, that'd be crazy.

I'm not liking the exposed mouth either but I think it adds to the whole idea that the uniform is very non professional and really just something some crazy kid put together in his room but the thing that bothers me is that since the comics is so new there really isn't one major villain that I think can be worthy to see in a movie and I think that is going to cause issues cause beating the villain needs to be the end but does Kick-Ass really have a villain that great right now?

Wow! I love the pictures, Kick Ass just looks so... Lame... That is great, because that was probably the thing Millar and Romita Jr. Thought when they decided to work on the costume, a spandex-freak roaming the streets beating up villains. I'm not freaked out about the mouth issue (and i'm a fan of the book 'Cause it'd be quite awkward to hear his voice while performing.

About the villain, i'd go for "the mob", Sounds simple. but Kick Ass ain't an overman to deal with a super-powered terrorist threat or something.

hmmm the comx are decent but what the heck there on like number 5 and making a movie. And it is barley worth reading so this is gonna be really awful, i mean little girls cutting peoples heads in half.... youch im pretty sure it will be a flop..  or a trilogy

looks good. i love this book, as long as they keep the subtle humor sort of the same it should be alright. cant wait to see that poor kid get the crap beat out of him.

Looking pretty good.

I saw one of the makers on another hero forum before he started working on it (and after starting filming).  I'm not digging the exposed mouth, but makes sense he would recycle a balaclava since he's not exactly a professional or anything.
