Karen Page was a secretary for Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson. She and Matt Murdock fell in love. She once pursued an acting career in Los Angeles, but instead ended up a porn star hooked on heroin. Then later she sold out Daredevil's secret identity for a fix, which eventually reached Kingpin. Matt took Karen back and they started to build a life together, but when Karen was offerd a job in LA she accepted, leaving Matt a love note before she left. Later, after being tricked into beliveing she had AIDS by Mysterio she returned to Matt tell him the news. She was manipulated once again by Mysterio, making her belive a baby was the cause of all the events happening to her. After meeting Murdock in a chruch he figured out she was trying to kill the baby. Matt told her the baby was not evil and that it was her pass reckless life style giving her AIDS.

Later in the park she had an epiphany that Matt Murdock needs her as much as she needs him. She went back to the church to help Matt. Trying to trick Bullseye so Sister Maggie can escape with the baby, the baby let out a cry and Bullseye was going to kill it. But Karen got in his way once again and held a gun to his head. After she fired it Bullseye told her it was empty. Letting her live because she had "Chutzpah" (she impressed him) he said that he'd forgotten to give Daredevil his Club back and he throw it at him. Karen took the hit trying to protect him. Before she died she whispered, "Ill miss you".
