Originally the greatest city of Krypton, Kandor was shrunk by the intergalactic criminal Brainiac. After Superman defeated Brainiac, he took the bottle to the Fortress of Solitude for safe-keeping, hoping one day to restore it to full size. Meanwhile, thousands live out their lives in the confines of the bottle.
after all the changes in the Superman timeline, who is currently responsible for the state of the bottle city?
at one point i remember it being Tolos who shrank it... as is listed on the Kandor page...
"The bottle city Kandor is home to thousands of beings believed to have been abducted by the alien wizard Tolos and imprisoned between dimensional planes."
but then we have later issues of Superman stating that Brainiac is responsible, and this is listed on the Brainiac page...
"Brainiac was the one who shrank the Kryptonian city of Kandor."
I thought it was original believed that Brainiac had shrunken it, but later, during the "Trail of Superman." storyline, it was reveled that Tolos was the one who was truly responsible.
