Instead of having him die at the hands of Superboy-Prime what would you have done with the original Superman?
Personally I would have either placed him on Earth-2 or done something with him involving Iron Munro (who replaced him in the timeline after COIE)
Kal-L
Character » Kal-L appears in 370 issues.
Kal-L or the Earth-Two Superman. His planet was destroyed when he was just a baby, but his parents managed to save him by putting him in a starship and sending him to Earth. He became the last son of Krypton or as the public calls him SUPERMAN!
What would you have done with him?
@comicdude23: you would've wanted him and Kal-El both on New Earth?Yup. Just like the PC days, only with Kal L on the same Earth as Kal El.
I think I would have had him killed off by the current Superman.
"Quit hitting yourself! Quit hitting yourself! I kill me."
@Closure: No he's not but Kal-L wasn't really the original either being that the original wasn't anywhere near as powerfulAs a new DC reader this confuses me. Does everyone else know that's not the original Kal-L? Or was some crisis able to implement his existence into the world

How would that work though? Would Kal-L be Kal-El's ancestor or something?Their not related.
I would've had someone create a teenage clone of Kal-L, who's found by Power Girl. Have the clone assume the identity of Power Boy and, eventually, revealed that Kal-L's soul has been reincarnated in the body of the young clone (granting him some of Kal-L's memories, with the potential of all of Kal-L's memories re-emerging, as the clone grows older).
shiny green ring on his finger & given him a hostile sector to protect :-)@sky-pirate said:

I would've bonded him to the Specter
I'd read that.

That works too. TBH this sounds better that the current Superboy anyway.
