Two Questions I like to ask about Kaine. 1) Is Kaine his real name ? and 2) If Kaine is a clone of Peter then is Kaine Human ?

Kaine is his only name..so yes....he's also a genetic duplicate of Peter Parker after he was cured during Spider Island...so he's whatever Peter Parker is considered

Well, no... presumably his real name for all intents and purposes would be Peter Parker... he just obvs doesn't use it as his name... you even say it yourself... "he's whatever Peter Parker is considered" xP

His name techincally is Peter Parker just like Ben Reilly was also Peter Parker, but uses another name to established himself from Parker.

I don't see it that way at all...."technically" your name is something your parents give you and then is made legal by the government....Peter was named so by his parents....Kaine was named Kaine by the Jackal....Ben didn't have a name until he started using Ben Reilly....if a mother gives birth to triplets and names one right away and waits ten minutes to name the other two then they don't all have the same name for those ten minutes

1. Kaine is the name he gave himself after the Jackal attempted to kill him. I don't think its been confirmed why he called himself that.

2. Technically he's not human as Peter isn't either so he'd be classed as a human mutate

Ben did have a name: Peter Parker. Remember he had Peter's memories, and thought and believed he was Peter Parker. But took the name Ben Reilly to separate himself. And then you have the whole time, Ben believes he is the real Peter Parker cause of Trainer telling them Ben is the original until they showed Pete was when Osborn killed Ben. Also Clones/creations don't have legal status thus allowing them to go by whatever the hell they want.

The Jackal didn't name Kaine. When Kaine escaped the Jackal he gave himself his own name because he didn't want to be Peter Parker.

Ben called himself Ben Reilly after his Uncle Ben and Aunt May's maiden name which was Reilly.

Legally, Kaine doesn't exist, as he lacks a birth certificate (along with other records). Ben's name was legally "Benjamin Reilly", as Seward fixed him a social security number (and other things like High School and College records), when he was online. And Ultimate Spider-Woman's undoubtably legally "Jessica Drew" (as she was created by the CIA, hence they probably fabricated a false past for her and documents). So, their names are Jessica Drew and Ben Reilly, but Kaine's name isn't "Peter Parker". He can't use it, as Peter's using it in NY (and it would draw attention from the authorities, if one guy in New York and one guy in Houston have the exact same name and social security number). However, if Kaine would ever want a legal identity, he could just take over Ben's (as Ben dissolved, there wasn't a death certificate issued, meaning in the eyes of the United States goverment, Ben Reilly is still alive), giving him all of Ben's papers and records (and he could even legally change the name to "Kaine whatever-surname-he-wants").

I mean you can change your name all you want - even legally - but it will always be his "real" name. Ok so for the record. Kaine's real name is Peter Parker ? Of corse I like Kaine Parker Better.

Kaine is not a perfect clone, so the statment 'Kaine is whatever Peter Parker is' is false. Ben was a perfect clone but Kaine was not. Kaine was bigger, stronger, and has the mark of Kaine which now seems to be some sort of acid touch rather than just the sticking ability. And to answer your question he does not have a legal name he's completely off the grid. He's just Kaine, no last name.

They cloned a sheep a few years back. It didn't have the same name as the original sheep

Kaine Parker that's what it said on his grave. There now stop arguing.

Sorry hate to bring up this again but... i was looking up Kaine on the Marvel database. under real name it says Kaine Parker. this site still says Peter Parker under real name ?

@kid_omega_prime: Since he's Peter's clone, one could use in a certain way this name, but I see that nowadays Marvel calls him Kaine Parker. CV uses Peter Parker indeed and I don't know why. I think they should change it to Kaine Parker.
