    Kaine was the first clone of Spider-Man created by the Jackal. He was suffering from clone degeneration and became an assassin and spent years tormenting his clone brother, Ben Reilly. He has since taken up the mantle his now dead brother as the new Scarlet Spider.

    I stopped reading Scarlet Spider before the other so there in lies my question. I heard that Kaine recieved an Amp that allowed him to fight off the Lobo twins, does that apply to his normal human state or only when he is the transformed spider thing does he get stronger?
