Any other fans of Kaine?

I know most people seem to hate or pretend the Clone Saga didn't happen but this saga brought me back into buying Spider-Man comics. I saw the issue with Scarlet Spider over a beaten Brock/Venom and had to grab the issue.

Spotting Kaine in that issue immediately drew me to the mysterious character, he's a interesting take on Spider man. Him and Scarlet Spider are my favorite things that came from the whole clone saga.

I hope he somehow shows up in future issues seeing how his 'death' wasn't really shown or anything but still the whole current spidey changes don't really give you much hope...

Seeing him in Spider-Girls storyline is pretty cool too.

I'd be ok with Kaine coming back, so long as he's not an overbearing presence like in the Clone Saga or going around killing off Spidey villains... again and again. Plus he needs a new edge, something to make him more interesting.

I was a fan of the Clone Saga, and i really would like to see Kaine back and kicking ass. I'm all for him killing all new Spider-Man villains of the last year. Kill Spider-Man too, and bring back Ben Reilly and i might begin to read Spider-Man again.

I think they are ruining Kaine. Yes his powers look good but I like him as a villain.

I'm interested in his new series after reading the point one issue but if it was 2.99 I'd be able to pick it up but 3.99 is out of my price range for an ongoing

I really liked Kaine as a character, to me he was always the "What if" version of Spider-man, he doesn't hold back and I liked the way he was more creative with Peter's abilities. I'm so psyched he's got his own series can't wait for January! Although I am a little disappointed they've downgraded his strength to Peters level and taken away his pre-incog but the "Other" powers look like they'll make up for that!

Kaine was the first Spider-clone created by Professor Miles Warren, the Jackal. He has been cured of his cellular degeneration and is the new Scarlet Spider.
