Aman was a captured slave in ancient Khandaq and the nephew of the man who would be known as Black Adam. He and his uncle were granted the powers of the wizard Shazam to save him from dying when injured trying to escape. Aman wanted to use his powers for good, but Adam wanted them for revenge and killed Aman to pursue his goal.
The original champion of the Wizard, Teth-Adam was a former slave who channeled the power of six Egyptian Gods to fight evil. But when his family was murdered during the conquest of his people, he developed more ruthless methods to protect innocents. Seeing him as corrupt, the Wizard banished "Black Adam" to the tomb of Ramesses II. After centuries of imprisonment, he would finally escape to overthrow Kahndaq's tyrant by force, becoming the country's defender and a natural enemy to the world's heroes.
Adrianna Tomaz was originally a slave of Intergang, and offered to Black Adam as a bribe. She eventually fell in love with him, and through the intervention of Captain Marvel became a hero. Trapped as a statue, she was freed by Osiris in Brightest Day.
Amon is the brother of Adrianna Tomaz (Isis). Black Adam shared the power of the gods with Amon in order to save his life. He transforms into Osiris by saying his benefactor's name, "Black Adam".
Ravan Nassar is the former head of the Kahndaqi Military and member of the Suicide Squad.
