Her tumultuous teen years, her romance with Yukio, her confrontation with the Yakuza, her recruitment as an informant, and her training as an operative. All these story threads from Scarab's origin have been brought together and tie into the present story of Scarab and Tigerlily's forbidden friendship outside of the Noh and the Noh's search for Kabuki in Control Corps. This issue dramatically converges Scarabs past into her present, brings her face to face with a mystery guest, and ties into the recent painted KABUKI series, continuing where KABUKI- Metamorphosis leaves off.
