Not The Worst, but getting there. 1

Not a lot of people are fans of Aquaman. That's just the truth. He has been the butt of many a superhero joke for decades. And even though there have been more than a few stories and incarnations that paint him in a more attractive light, Arthur Curry's good name has been dragged through the mud far too long to be easily cleaned now.But in the past few years, DC and WB have tried to do just that. With bigger and better roles in big comics stories, support behind his own comics titles, the promi...

Too Epic Too Litle Time 2

Like Man of Steel, Justice League: War was a less then auspicious start to this new DC Animated Universe. Son of Batman was no better. It isn’t like group working at Warner Bros. Animation, suddenly forgot how to make a good animated feature, they released the out of continuity Batman: Assault on Arkham after those two features. The latest entry into the New52DCAU (because convoluted acronyms are all the rage) doesn’t reach the highs of past animated features but also dosen’t ...

    Watered down Johns 1

There is really no other way of saying this, so;Throne of Atlantis was a terrible story in comics and riddled with Johns' usual fan-logic that puts his current favorite character on the same level of gods and Kryptonians. And the movie just plays as a watered down version of the already flimsy story... only now we have to put up with Arthur's cliche origins of being an outsider finding out he's the king of a land he's never heard of and overcoming his reluctance to lead this place... and hook up...

I found this movie to be an exciting adventure. The way Arthur found his aquaman suit was pretty cool. Something that caught my eye was a construction worker named John Henry picked up a long-handled steel hammer and smash some evil atlanteans with it.The one thing I didn't like about this film was that captain Marvel was a little too childish. I understand he is really a kid but he could be a little more mature when he is Captain Marvel. While I'm on the topic something that really bugs me when...
