Now this is a story all about how My life got flipped turned upside down 1

The Fresh Prince’s opening verse is prescient when discussing Flashpoint. One second The Flash is doing his normal Flash thing: making snarky remarks to his literal Rogues and the time traveling Professor Zoom, even saving his beloved Central City with a little help from his friends in the Justice League. Than his life gets flipped turned upside down. Waking up at his desk job as a forensic scientist, Barry Allen awakens to a world in crisis. “World Faces Armageddon” reads the headline. Sounds ...

Another smash hit from DC animation! 3

WARNING SOME SPOILERS AHEAD. A part of the magic of this movie is finding the hidden Easter eggs and references in this movie so if you're a minor spoiler purist... Anyway, you've been warned.I somehow luckily managed to get to see Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox early and I have to say, I couldn't be happier with this movie. I know that many people disliked the Flashpoint event for being somewhat, "scattered", but, like with Under the Red Hood; DC animation has turned an ok comic story i...

    An entertaining movie 0

Before I start, I want to make it clear that I’ve only been reading comics for about a year now, so I don’t have as great a grasp on the characters on some of these characters as some of the other people on this site. Also, I did not read the comic this was based on; so I can't say how good this is compared to the original story.MINOR SPOILERS MAY FOLLOWThe Good:The Concept - I love stories with alternate universes and/or timelines, as long as they’re handled well. This is one ...

This movie is dark, flat, and downright awful 0

I know a lot of people enjoy this movie, but it's just terrible! When I watched this, I expected myself to see a terrible alternate universe that a hero has to reverse. Simple formula, right? Well, the movie thinks if it oversaturates that message to death, then it's a good movie. Wrong idea. This movie is not only dark, but it's depressingly dark! Almost every character that's in action gets only a few hits before they're gunned down like meaningless puppets! I know it's supposed to reinforce t...

Accept the things you can't change - Animated Interpretation of Geoff Johns Flash Story 0

I wanted to review something for quite some time so I decided to review one thing I'm currently in the mood to talk about and that is the first DC Animated Universe Movie based on the story called Flashpoint written by Geoff Johns in 2011. Before I get into the review I want to point out something you should know reading this. There are rules when it comes to review stuff and is not the same as if you are making a blog about it.These are the rules you need to follow then you are making a review ...
