***SPOILER FREE REVIEW***Before I begin my review proper, let me state that this comic is best read before Justice League of America #1. You're not going to spoil anything in either comic if you don't, they just fit better together that way.Anyways, I admit when I heard that Andrew Kreisberg was writing Vibe, I wasn't exactly rushing to my LCS to buy as many copies as I could carry. I will start by saying that I came into this comic expecting the same as everybody else. "Why Vibe" "Why Now"? After reading this issue, wow. I am thinking "Why not sooner?"The Good: Okay this issue was a very good introduction on Vibe. As the use above me said, it's best to read JLA first, because it gives a better background to where/who this kid is. His powers amazed me, I had no idea he could do some of the stuff he does. Comic writer Geoff Johns has an uncanny knack for taking over entire universes. He now commands the helm of the DC universe, which has shrunken by about fifty dimensions in the last few years, but which still comes with great responsibility. But he can see the forest for the trees. All everyone seemed to talk about when this book was first announced was how ridiculous it was to bring Vibe back, how surprising it was that he got his own series, how unsure of how Vibe could be made interesting. To that I say, "Seriously?" Did you all forget Booster Gold? And Vibe's been dead for so long, and the character's being redone, and this series has no less potential than any other re-imagined hero.
