tecnically, Billy would have lost his powers, I mean after gaining that much power becoming Captain Marvel again would be like a step backwards

I'm afraid it's not an artist mistake...
I've read about the Shazam thing on a Newsarama interview...he's supposed to have the blue outfit in this comic...
Oh well, then the mistake is the writer's and not the artist's =p

I do remember that in the Titans of Tomorrow storyline, Freddy was Captain Marvel but still had a blue costume, maybe that's it

All I'm saying is that maybe Robinson thought that Freddy's color should still be blue, it also helps to diferenciate him from Billy Batson but maybe he really lost it
