There has been many, but which one is your least favorite?
Justice League of America
Team » Justice League of America appears in 3312 issues.
The Justice League (also known as the Justice League of America or the JLA) is a team comprised of the premier heroes of the DC Universe.
Worst incarnation of the League?
@devitciiu: I guess I shouldn't buy a box full of Task Force, then?
This one.
I did really enjoy that post IC line up. From the book to the art, that was a good book.
I'll always have huge love for the silver age and the original 7. Great line up.
However my favorite is the line up from Morrison's JLA featuring Kyle and Wally instead of Hal and Barry.
@onemoreposter: Worst incarnation, not best. But I liked Morrison's JLA as well.

Well, you understand how he could be confused when you post a picture of a lineup like that, yes? In short, your opinion is wrong and you should feel bad.

Lol, don't I feel silly.
@jaken7: No I'm not! Tornadoe's Path was a huge turnoff! They use the most of the time to talk about how damn great they are, the Trinity's discussion about who should join the League ended up being pointless, and there was no proper buildup to making Black Canary the leader of the JLA. Not to mention that Roy is written out of character.
Also, I agree about the N52 League.

I was just going by the characters in that picture, not the stories that League was featured in.
I don't think the Brad Meltzer league was the worst incarnation but they were the most disappointing. I had high hopes after the zero issue but the series really never went anywhere. It was slow, with uninteresting stories, poor characterization and didn't really do anything new. McDuffie taking over didn't change anything. I really hoped the series was going to elevate Roy and Black Lightning, and bring back a Justice League with epic stories .
@devitciiu: What about Robinson's run?
@devitciiu: Sure, CFJ was a bomb of suckiness, but his JLA was actually pretty awesome. He actually wrote my favorite JLA story-line called Rise Of Eclipso.
All good writers has at least two awful stories. Because that what happens when you try to create; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I'll try it.
I used to love Robinson (Blades, Golden Age, Starman, early JSA) but when he came back from hiatus and wrote Face to Face I was worried that he'd burnt out, and then CFJ made me shudder. I tried Earth 2 but just couldn't get past the costumes but I hear nothing but good things.
The New 52 JL line up because Cyborg.
Justice League Detroit was bad too.
Extreme Justice too.
I think the worst of all time might just be 2003's Replacement League. The one with Major Disaster and Faith and Manitou.
I should probably include the James Robinson era team but I loved that team too much to include it.

What? Major Disaster?

@arturocalakayvee: Huh, did know he was a hero...
@arturocalakayvee: Huh, did know he was a hero...
I didn't mind him so much to be honest. He just happened to be in the JLA at a very weird time.
@devitciiu: I may be the only guy on the planet who likes the Earth 2 costumes, LOL
@arturocalakayvee: @smashbrawler: Extreme Justice really that bad?
@waezi2: Let me put it this way: people remember and constantly reference the Detroit League, which is universally considered to be one of the most forgettable incarnations of the League ever.
No one, no one, ever mentions or even acknowledges the existence of Extreme Justice. Ever. It is, for all intents and purposes, completely non-canon as far as anyone in the DCU is concerned.
@smashbrawler: That sounds... extremly poor!
:P
@night4345: Good things can sometimes come from something awful. Robinson's JLA is an example.
@night4345: And nothing should, but are you really going to blame the guy for trying to do something creative, and fail at it?
Every writer has at least three bad comics.
@waezi2: I'm going to blame him because the story is terrible and the basis of the story makes little sense, characters are written completely out of character, characters are killed off-panel for no reason but death, and the worst is Roy Harper is dismembered, his city is blown up, and his child is killed when he wasn't even a big part of the story at all.
There might be worse Leagues but right now i feel so sad about the New 52 League that i can't seem to push my mind to remember them.
@arturocalakayvee: Huh, did know he was a hero...
Major Disaster was reformed after help out Superman in forgotten story. After the Justice League disappera in ancient Atlantis a contigency was activated to invite the next generation of the team, which included Major disaster...because Batman thought that Major Disaster deserved a second chance. That happened during Joe Kelly run.
Justice League Detroit and Post-Cry For Justice version.
Whats wrong with them?
I've only been reading Justice League since the New 52, so I'm going to have to say the new one. With Animal Man and Stargirl.
I created a list a while back ranking all the various Leagues throughout the years from best to worst based solely on their rosters. I have now edited it to include some additional Leagues mentioned in this thread. I will post my updated list below.
My least favorite would probably be that one from 52 (not the new 52)
Oh yeah! When they had Firehawk, Ambush Bug, and Super-Chief. I agree that one takes the cake. I didn't have it on my list but I have now added it.
01. Silver Age- Pre Detroit
02. Meltzer/McDuffie League (2006)
03. Morrison JLA (1997)
04. Justice League United (New 52- 2014)

06. Justice League America- continued from JLI
07. DeMatteis/Giffen- Justice League/Justice League International Volume 1
08. New 52 JLA

@kilowog52: Number 1 is the worst?
