I finished watching Justice League Doom recently and got to wondering what my ideal 6 hero team Justice League roster would be (still haven't decided XD) but thought I'd ask you guys here what your ultimate Justice League lineup would be if you had six heroes to choose from?
Justice League of America
Team » Justice League of America appears in 3324 issues.
The Justice League (also known as the Justice League of America or the JLA) is a team comprised of the premier heroes of the DC Universe.
Who'd be on your Justice League dream team?

@Sinestro2828: 7. There needs to be 7.
The original members:
Well okay, you're right about the seven member thing I guess, I was just going with how there were six official league members in the beginning of the Justice League Doom movie
Seven works just as well
Personally I like 8 as a minimum for my dream roster but I'm more partial to 14.. I think the League should be noticeably large by comparison to other teams.
Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner)
Flash (Wally West)
Martian Manhunter
Zatanna
Then the preferred addition
Captain Marvel
Wildcat
Blue Beetle (Ted Kord)
Starman (Jack Knight)
Plastic Man
Dr. Fate (Just straight up Nabu)
Static
Miracleman
Less of a JL, more of a sort of weird Seven Soldiers of Victory. Oddball B-List heroes pulled together by an elderly Wildcat to battle crime the Justice League don't find time to deal with. After stopping a major threat (something that starts small but becomes really big and public) they're looked at as the people's champions. (They should all have open secret identities.) (so I suppose no secret identities) I'd like to see BB become they're leader and begin to crumble under the responsibilities. He should retreat into a robot beetle shell to fight crime, after a brush with the reality of death. He should start becoming more and more withdrawn and worried about his own safety and coming up with plans to stop everyone from dying until he realizes that his overthinking and worrying is letting people die. His transformation would be fun to watch. Throughout that I want Jack to be his friend, trying to help him overcome his fears and blossoming obsession with preventing all damage to him and his friends. Eventually, it should be Jack who' in the life threatening situation that makes Ted change. Wildcat and Static act as anchors for the team. Static is a good guy through and through there to save lives everyday. Wildcat is a wealth of wisdom, often advising BB and MM. When hes not with the time he is always on the streets making sure his team doesn't forget about the everyday man. MM should start as a kid, an idealist trying to help everyone out but as he is forced to spend every moment devising plans and strategies to stop crime, and being tied to the monitors, always having more work, he starts to rebel against his new self made constraints. He has to ask himself, "Do I want to help people or do I want freedom?" I want Plastic Man and Dr. Fate to be a duo. I don't care about the guy in the helmet I care about the god judging men. How can someone who's so much more than a man judge who is a good man? I think Plas is a great analogue for that. Even though he's such a cartoony goofy character he really can be the most relatable. I want to see how how seriously he takes saving people despite his childish demeanor. Plas and Fate together can really pull out some good life lessons about being more human. I've also been nursing a story idea that asks where superheroes go home to? What do they do? For these characters you can get a few short stories out of it: Wildcat doesn't really go home, he keeps working till he passes out in an alley and meeting an old JSAer about it and talking about never stopping fighting, Static meets his family for dinner and gives lesson about the importance of family to a cousin who's going through some rough times, Miracleman just jumps off buildings, Starman drinks and calls his mom, at the right part of the earlier BB story he could spend all night running simulations obsessing about being prepared for anything. Fate should be seeing all those things, narrating them, maybe even telling them to Plas, but when he looks in Plas's head to see where he goes, he sees Plastic Man in a house with his arm around a barely visible woman. in the next panel you see the lines of his hand kinda blur into her back hinting that she's just him stretching. As you zoom out you see that he's in a lone house in an empty dessert and the house is the red and blue of objects plastic man makes.
Batman.
MMH.
Hal Jordan.
Wally West.
John Constantine.
Wonder Woman.
Superman.
And Zatanna as an unexpected 8th character.
Jmarshmallow
Freedom beast, Bulleteer, Durga (the goddess of Goods victory over Evil), Metamorpho, Shilo Norman, his Mother box, Bizarro Wonder woman, Rip Hunter...and some who have alternate genders. Also, every hero possible. Not every coremember in every story.
Superman
Batman
Wonder woman
Flash
Green lantern
Martian manhunter.
Pretty much this
- Batman
- Flash (Barry)
- Wonder Woman
- Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
- Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes)
- Raven
- Zatanna
- Saint Walker (I know he's not from earth but him and Hal together are OP)
Zatanna
Wonder Woman
Aquaman
Flash
Martian Manhunter
Cyborg
Metamorpho
Not my favourite characters by any stretch of the imagination but feel they would have pretty much everything covered in terms of offense & attack anywhere on the planet. Batman is my favourite character but had to swap him for a magical being.
