Which Artists Deserve To Draw Justice League (Who Haven't Yet)? Marvel or DC.

My favorite DC artists are Jim Lee, Ivan Reis, Cully Hamner, and Francis Manapul. 2 of those guys have already done Justice League. I'd like to see the other two at least do Justice League variant covers.

um how about Greg Capullo,

Capullo is okay. Actually he's a great artist, but I'm not sure if he's right for Justice League. He can do Batman and Superman well, but there are some coloring issues I had with his Justice League 3 variant cover. It didn't united worlds well IMO. Batman was really dark and sinister while everyone else looked like they belonged on a Saturday morning cartoon. And he would have to town down the darkness he brings to Batman on a Justice League book, so it's almost like "why even have him if he can't do what he does best?" Just my opinion obviously. =)

Francis Manapul. He is a great artist. So are the other guys of course but I really like his artwork.

I'd like to see Bryan Hitch back after Age of Ultron.

Manapul, Kubert and Leinil Yu would be boss. Coipel and Adams wouldn't be bad either.

Also, I'd like to see Johns' wish being fulfilled and have him work with Steve McNiven.

From the artists posted in this thread I'd like to see Francis Manapul (love his work in flash), Adam Kubert's art looks really cool, Ed Mcguiness was cool in Superman/Batman, and Bryan Hitch, that page up there is quite impressive!

yu is great , loved his art in new avengers and ultimate avengers

It's been said a million times already, but Manapul is a beast--especially when he decides the lay outs. Writers like Johns don't always like giving artists a lot of freedom to play, but Manapul deserves that freedom. When Buccellato does his colors, he also just has a timeless look to his work, you know?

I vote for Manapul as well. I love his art, and he would obviously fit a book like Justice League.

Yeah. Manapul, Rocafort, and Nicola Scott, who is doing Earth 2 at the moment.
