    Blue Beetle would probably go crazy and Static wouldn't be be able to keep up with Flash.

    NO. Static and Beetle are fine as solo heroes. And besides, Flash already has kid flash (in the old continuity at least) so why bother?

    Absolutely terrible idea. GL and Static have nothing in common as far as their enemies and how they fight them. Pretty much the same.for.Blue Beetle and Flash. Second, neither of those two are sidekicks, never were. They are trial by fire heroes, learning on their own and doing things their own way without a grown up looking over their shoulder.
