(IMO) Is not go the Marvel route. Its been done now.

They have so much room here to shake it up, so i think now with the success of MAN OF STEEL :D We're definitely getting a sequel whether it be next year or not. I Do think its doable tho, they probably already have their story regardless of whay goyer's saying. But MAN OF STEEL 2 (hopefully called "THE MAN OF TOMORROW"), will set the foundations to widen the universe even further, introduce people like Lex Luthor, and possibly bring in Doomsday!

MOS2 then should set itself up for and lead into AMERICA'S FINEST. The SUPERMAN BATMAN Team Up that has been Teased for years!!!!

Then from there they should introduce Wonder Woman/Diana, in the team up. Then they leave themselves with the ultimate (again IMO) jumping off point, to go straight into THE JUSTICE LEAGUE! Where they can introduce the Flash and and already established Green Lantern.

I'd prefer if the sequel to Man of Steel were more small scale. The best parts of the first movie were those that explored Clark's humanity. And I think a sequel would benefit if it stayed on that route and did not throw in too many adversaries/characters.

@supbatz: yeah, think they need to explore more of 'Clark Kent', Metropolis, Daily Planet, Journalist. And how he would uncover some hidden secret (though nothing to do with real estate! :S). This would give him a link to cross over with Bruce wayne, as a jump off from the end of MOS2. Like the way the joker was introduced in BatmanBegins

mos2 is rumored to have supergirl but id prefer batman. it is confirmed that mos is the starting point for dc cenimatic. no tdk or god forbid ryan renolds's GL!!! mos2 2014, JL 2015.

@dcdyno: I'd rather have Supergirl. It would make more sense because it Supermans movie. Bats can get the spotlight (again) once he is rebooted (again) a couple of years down the road.

They need to follow the Marvel way because its the best way at building up hype. Don't fix what ain't broke.

That's a pretty decent approach...but IMO it'd only work if they don't take too long to do it, i.e. MINIMUM 1 movie per year

Tthe DC / Warner has always been a pioneer in many areas, long before the Marvel be Marvel and before they have their own studio, the DC / Warner also has staff trained and able to think of unique ways to bring this film to the cinema.

WB isn't that competent, especially with DC franchises. They didn't even know that there were multiple Green Lanterns.
