The Justice League is said to be comprised of "The Worlds Greatest Superheroes". The current incarnation of the League bares resemblance to the original pre-Crisis Justice League of America but features updated versions of its cast of characters for the DC Universe's New 52 continuity.

trinity war?

on facebook DC said that this will be leading to next years trinity war in the justice league. If there is a trinity war DC is probably gonna have a fan vote and batman's gonna win. but what do you guys think is gonna happen is this gonna be some massive event in the DCU.

I think that the "Trinity" in "Trinity War" refers to the Trinity of Sin, not Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman.

@Captain13: then why would DC post the cover of JL 14 as shown in the OP of superman fighting batman and wonder woman if it was the trinity of sin there talking about.

A fight among the league could make for a nice story. Sounds better than the Trinity of Sin.

I have a feeling Trinity War will be mentioned in every JL issue for a while, although I do think they could include the JL trinity as well.

from d FCBD issue it looks like at least Batman and Superman are on the same side.. and i think it will heavily involve the trinity of sin as batman was seen with pandora's box

I am honestly tired of heroes fighting heroes.

The villains must be on vacation, and the testosterone laiden heroes must've gotten bored.

ya, i dont want a DC version of the Civil War. And batman would probably win anyway because hes more popular. but it is the trinity of sin they're talking about

I wonder were the villains are all the time during these.

Anyway I REALLY hope this isn't a hero versus hero event, they're always so boring and are the cheapest way to get fans "excited". I hope it's more about the trinity of sin and magic in the DCU, at least that is something that has been building up for a while with the shazam back-up and pandora (along with the other members of the trinity of sin). With marvel having pumped out civil war, schism and AvX I'd be pretty frustrated if DC were just to do the same thing, instead of coming up with a really epic enemy for the whole DCU to band together and face.

Perhaps it's just misdirection... or it could be DC's small scale version of AvX
