Pretty interesting interview where Keith Giffen gives clues as to who the JL3000 really are.
Justice League of America
Team » Justice League of America appears in 3324 issues.
The Justice League (also known as the Justice League of America or the JLA) is a team comprised of the premier heroes of the DC Universe.
The Justice League 3000 Are Not Clones!
he kind of makes it sound like they found the bodies of the Justice League and regenerated them to the best of their abilities....loving this book btw
well now this could mean anything!
alt dimension!?
magic!?
super soldier program with fail memorys as well!?
time clones!? (theres a diference)
@danhimself: but that wouldn't explain the Flash's hair
@lifeofvibe: wait what a time clone lol?
@darknightspideyfanboy: uhhhhhhhhhhhh...no clue a marvel fan boy might know
Was issue 2 worth picking up? I was extremely excited to put this on my pull list, but I was so disappointed at issue 1 that I decided to drop it 8 pages in.

I don't know how you could be disappointed...after only 2 issues it's my favorite New 52 book
@danhimself: It just comes down to opinions I guess. Maybe when Comixology or Amazon has a sale I'll order the first arc and give it another shot. The thought of reading about the Justice League in the year 3000 is a great concept so I really want to like it.
@danhimself: I didn't understand the part about Batman not having the trauma of his parents' deaths. If that's the case then what motivation does he have for being Batman? It doesn't make sense.
Giffen is one of my favorite authors! After Future's End hope he writes another Marvel stint and take another jab at another cosmic event.

He doesn't really have anything that drives him towards a goal like the death of his parents did. Now, being Batman is sort of just a job that he feels like he has to do because that's what the Wonder Twins told him he was made to do. Hope that made sense.
@mrtummytumms: I guess it does, but I've always been under the impression that Bruce's trauma from the death of his parents is what created Batman. I just meant that without that, there should be no Batman. None of the skills, none of the costumes and gadgets, none of the drive or will.
