The upcoming bvs and justice league movies handled by WB are going to be epic train wrecks. Sure, they'll make a hell of a lot of money, but in terms of quality, this franchise is doomed. Snyder, goyer and Johns are the worst people to be in charge of this universe, Snyder being a mediocre director, goyer being a hack writer and Johns being a plain old ass. DC is rushing things way too fast, instead of taking their time like marvel did. Introducing 7+ very different characters in the same movie will lead to a messy story. The biggest problem however is the creative decision to follow the shite new 52 continuity, which isn't surprising, but frustrating. Creatively, WB should be staying as far way from the new 52 as possible, but of course that won't happen.

The dc movie universe is going to crash and burn

Well Marvel movie takes inspiration from Marvel Ultimate Universe. Yeah New 52 has some not good elements but pre new 52 has some not good elements also. In conclusion in every comics universe has some good things and bad things
The only good dc movies that have ever existed are the batman movies.
Superman 1, 2 and Man of Steel are the rare exception
@darktimecop: I don't really think they're following the New 52 continuity. I mean, Man of Steel. Boom. Totally not New 52. Great movie. I think you need to have an open mind here. They are doing it different than Marvel because they want to do their own thing, but also think about how much more well known these characters were before the Marvel movies came along. Do we really need a new Batman movie this soon? Come on, people know Aquaman, Green Lantern, Flash. It's all good, baby, just keep an open mind about it. Enjoy. This is a great time to be a comic book fan.
I think I'll wait to see any of the movies before I start discussing how good or bad they are so as not to look like a complete ass if they turn out good, I know, I'm weird not predicting the quality of something upon hearing the title of it 2 years before it's released.

Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Stardust, Road to Perdition, A History of Violence, Red. I also liked The Losers and Constantine.
Wrong.
Agreed.
@rustyroy: I agree on all of that. And yes, I liked The Losers and Constantine. In fact, I want a Losers sequel and some sort of nod to Keanu in the TV series.
Snyder has done some terrific work in the past. Johns and Miller are just consultants and no one really takes Johns seriously when it comes to writing, especially in movies (Green Lantern was beyond bad). This thread is beyond stupid. I suspect troll bait.
That bait though.
Can't people ever just state their opinions articulately and without resorting to bait?
DC/WB holds a lot of unknowns and quite frankly you can't judge their entire DCCU on Man of Steel alone. If BVS is terrible that's when you should really be getting worried.
