So I just finished the hardcover of "The Villains Journey". Throughout the book they reference a ton of stuff that wasnt in volume 1. There was a flashback to a Martian Manhunter fight and Batman said it had been 5 years since the first book. So where are all the stories that took place in those 5 years?

Since Origin takes place 5 years before Villain's Journey all that stuff (such as Martian Manhunter's brief membership) exists only as flashbacks.

@genfuyung: A few things have been revealed over the last few months (in the latest Justice League issue for example), but not much other than some references.
