Justice League of America

Team » Justice League of America appears in 177 issues.

The Justice League is said to be comprised of "The Worlds Greatest Superheroes". The current incarnation of the League bares resemblance to the original pre-Crisis Justice League of America but features updated versions of its cast of characters for the DC Universe's New 52 continuity.

I don't want Nolan's universe being incorporated into a shared DC cinematic universe. It just wouldn't work.

No, I don't. Nolan's universe is meant to be grounded in reality and trying to shove that into this new and bigger universe just doesn't sit well with me. I love JGL as an actor, but for me, Nolan's universe ended with TDKR.

Said it once, I'll say it again, I loved John Blake's character, but he would be an absolutely terrible Batman. And even if he was halfway decent, he's nowhere near JLA Bats material.

Also, this. Throwing superpowers into the Nolanverse ruins the tone of the series.

No, because nobody wants to see WB come up with a half-assed excuse on how Superman was nowhere to be found when Bane put a nuke on Gotham.

I actually liked the John Blake character from Rises.

Well have it were Batman came first then Superman showed up. Also this gives Superman more credit as the first superhero in this universe since Batman didn't have powers and Wayne only operated for about two years or so then took an eight year absence then came back for what a week total in the costume before faking the death of Batman?

Blake could work in the shadows and pull a Burton Batman where he wants to stay an urban legend, not going out in the open, but people still think The Bat is around, thus making Batman seem like something supernatural and increasing the fear of him.

As such, giving Superman a reasonable excuse for not helping out with the nuke as he wasn't really Superman at the time.
