Justice League of America
Team » Justice League of America appears in 3323 issues.
The Justice League (also known as the Justice League of America or the JLA) is a team comprised of the premier heroes of the DC Universe.
Off My Mind: What Was the Best Justice League of America Roster?
I like a lot of the rosters here, guys, and to be honest, there's one thing I think people have forgotten when thinking of the Justice League of America; simple put, as Dan Didio said once in DC Nation, the League is a team of elite heroes, not a team of elitists. I think we had been spoiled so much from back in the day besides DC's premise of their big guys being in the League. There, to me, has been much potential in the JLA that hasn't had the chance to be explored. So I think some delibirations with my committee of one,. I got what I would want in a Justice League;
Superman
Batman (Bruce)
Wonder Woman
Aquaman
The Flash (Wally)
Green Lantern (John)
Martian Manhunter
Green Arrow (Connor)
Plastic Man
Dr. Light
Vixen
Gypsy
Faith
Manitou Dawn
Cyborg
Red Tornado
The Atom
Hawkman
Kind of a nice balance of old school with characters reflecting the JLA's long history in addition to each bringing something different to the table. I also have ideas for JLI rosters, but I'll post that later.
Captain Marvel: Bates (strength, and sub for Supes,)
Batman: Wayne (strategy and smarts)
Flash: West (always have to have a speeder)
Wonder Woman
Green Lantern (any but Hal, the movie made me sad.)
Martian Manhunter
Plastic Man
I liked the Justice League Unlimited Roster from the cartoon that is like 100 people...feels like the Legion of Super Heroes...
Im partial to the Morrison line up with Plastic Man in it.
Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
Flash (Wally West)
Green Lantern (I would have prefered Hal Jordan but I have no problem with Kyle)
Aquaman (The harpoon hand/bearded Aquaman is my favorite)
Plastic Man
Martian Manhunter (In the JLA books I didnt mind him but id prefer him not be here)
The " Scientist/Magical" Mirror Team under the supervision of Martian Manhunter
1 - Superman : Superpowered boyscout , trustworthy.
2 - Captain Marvel : Magical supermanlike being, magical knowledge
3 - Wonderwoman : Stong physical and magical Warrior
4 - Zatanna : Powerful sorceress , magical knowledge
5 - Green Lantern ( Alan Scott ) : Magical " Green Lantern " and experienced super-hero.
6 - Green Lantern ( Kyle Raynor) : Cosmic affairs , and humor
7 - Martian Manhunter : Telepathic Coordination , Self-control , spying by different ways ( mind probe, invisibility, cameleon, dispersal ... )
If I could bring two more super-heroes, I would choose Batman ( Wayne) and Flash ( Barry Allen or Wally West) but we could also consider they are some kind of supervisors of the Teen Titans Team.
I really wish they would exclude Batman(not that it will never happen), and let him dwell in his own little world.
Superman alone could handle the leadership and help out cyborg with tech.
why don't you want Batman, he has to be there. maybe they will make him a part timer like in the cartoon. that would be cool.

Batman, Superman, Martian Manhunter, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl/woman The DCAU got it perfectly right.
i agree with this ^^^
Booster Gold <-comical relief, a last safety factor.
Green Arrow (Oliver) great marksmen and very sensible
Black Canary <-Decent street leveler, crowd control with sonic screech
Power Girl <-Brawn brawler.
Zatanna<-Magic monger
Flash(Wally) <-Co leader, speed factor
Green Lantern(John) <-Leader, cosmic factor

I would really like to see a roster that didn't have the big 7 and represented some of the other Superhero families instead. Captain Marvel Green Arrow Zatanna Hawkman Cyborg (Upgraded with Hank Henshaw, Metallo, Limited Amazo tech) Captain Atom Vixen
Interesting mix.
- Captain Marvel = I think of him as "JSA" although you could really argue the Marvels as their own "family"
- Green Arrow = I think of him as a JLA guy, though not a front-runner
- Zatanna = Magic end of the JLA, which is more prominent now with JL Dark
- Hawkman = JSA
- Cyborg = Titans
- Captain Atom = JLI (personally I'd pick Booster but then I'd read a JL book populated with just 7 Boosters on the roster)
- Vixen = JL Detroit. Is she the only survivor of that team? I actually think she is! Yikes.
But yeah, good mix, although I think it'd be cool if you subbed GA for a "seven soldiers of victory" character or replaced Hawkman with a New Gods character like Barda or something.

You cant beat the original seven
AMEN TO THAT!
This might not have actually been one, but it's a hard one to beat.
DC's top 11 characters. Right here.
That's why the Silver Age roster is the best. It has DC's top heroes.
The big names that you think of when you think of JL.
@martianmanhunterisbetterthancy:
That's right. The Silver Age wasn't subject to p.c. concerns/sensitivities, hence no Cyborg.
Main Team: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, and Dick Grayson (whether as Nightwing or Robin).
Secondary Members: Green Arrow, Black Canary, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, The Atom, Elongated Man, Zatanna, Firestorm, Plastic Man, Steel, Batgirl (Babs), Supergirl, John Stewart, and Mera
The silver age one. All of DC's biggest heroes.
