.......だれか (dare ka)?

I have to imagine making a story mode for this game is actually harder than it was for MORTAL KOMBAT. In MK, there were already set factions who were working together. Trying to make a story with all these insane villains working together in a story must be a challenge.

This is cool, but I'm just not really into fighting games. Judging by MK, there will be DLC costumes as well as added characters at some point. Why would they not prime DLC for people to buy later?

That would be awesome, but I feel like they need more women. Vixen might be a better choice because she also has the ethnicity factor.

I'm pretty sure Starfire is going to be in this game. They need more women and they need someone that can shoot beams. They like characters that show a lot of skin too. She is also one of the most popular female characters.

This is my list for the final 9:

Lex Luthor: Can't have Superman without Lex.

Aquaman: It might be weird seeing him in a fighting game, but if anyone deserves it, it is him.

Deathstroke: They've used him before and I wouldn't be surprised if they used him again.

Starfire: They need more female and a female that has projectile blasting is perfect. They also love showing skin.

Sinestro: Will be really disappointed if there is Hal without Sinestro.

Vixen/Animal Man/Beast Boy: It depends on where they want to go with this, but all three have a unique skill set.

Star Sapphire: More lanterns. Show off diversity and Carol can have very different powers then both Hal and Sinestro. She can also be portrayed as good or bad.

Blue Beetle: Another character DC has been trying to push hard and he would play very well in a game like this.

Captain Cold: Can't have a Mortal Kombat-like game without some sort of Ice user and he is one of the Flash's mortal enemies.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

Black Canary, Deadman, Swamp Thing, Poison Ivy, Zatanna, Booster Gold, SHAZAM, Captain Atom/Firestorm, Lobo, Grifter, Grodd, Deadshot, Parasite, Martian Manhunter

I'm looking forward to this game. I'd like to see Supergirl, Raven, Red Hood, Huntress, Lex Luthor, Starfire, and maybe Deadshot. King Shark would be awesome as well but he is really obscure to noncomic readers. I didn't know who he was until I started reading Suicide Squad.

glad they're continuing the story mode and really expanding with it! im glad that the single player content will be just as good as well! and based on what they said, Green Arrow will kinda play similar to Hawkeye in mvc3, which is good since Hawkeye is one of my favorites in that game! really looking forward to this!

@Jonny_Anonymous: yeah me either. I was dissipointed with Marvel vs Capcom 3.

I have a pretty particular set of characters I'd like in the game: more lanterns (could just be GL skins tbh), Deadshot (not that Arkham City crap, New 52 look is nice though), King Shark (good idea Tyrannotaur) and Robin (if they found a spot for Solomon Grundy, but not Robin...) Either way, will be buying the collectors edition and playing till my fingers or eyes bleed, whichever occurs first.

Comic fans are pretty particular about their comic characters?! You don't say! ::chuckles:: Great interview though!

Personally, I'm a Huntress fan so that would be sick. Good call on Deadman btw, he's the beezneez. Dr. Fate would be neat to see aswell. Or Phantom Stranger since he's playing a much bigger role in the DCU this time around.

The problem with Huntress is that there is already two girls street level (Harley Quinn and Catwoman) but there are also Green Arrow, Batman and Nightwing. It might happen though.

Nice to see that their will be a lot of single player content as a person who doesn't play online and has no friends who use a PS3, I probably wouldn't have gotten the game if it didn't have that much Single Player Content. I just hope they have Blue Beetle, Martian Manhunter, and Atrocitus. Red Tornado would be cool as well.

I'm really looking forward to playing as Flash - I think he's got the best costume redesign and the best combo moves. Good thing about him is he's gonna be the odd one out of all the characters for his cheap ass moves XD

I'm the one in the purple hoodie at the end. Played as Green Arrow and it was a blast. Hoping Swamp Thing can make it to the roster

Well I'm hoping for Doomsday being as how he's an in your face kind of guy, he could be a brute fighter I mean they have Hulk in MVC2 and 3, granted DD is far more powerful obviously but still he could have move sets with brute moves and perhaps "mimic" moves like Shang Tsung can morph into others, well perhaps with DD he can adapt and take less damage from the same move or do a power up where his normal moves do twice the amount of damage or something.

Man i hope Nightwing is given some prominence in the story.And i hope the new 52 costumes are available for most characters.

I think it's safe to say that all characters that were playble in mortal kombat vs dc universe will be playable in this game. But Netherealm, you can have all my money if Starfire, Static, and Swamp Thing are playable.
