@black_claw: Adam Strange will be on the team soo it is a must buy for me!
Also i think Booster Gold is Canadian.
Adam Strange is going to become Canadian?
JLCanada is also taking over the JLA title. The team was barely together, and now they're just getting rid of it? Hopefully that's not the case, or that'll just be ridiculous.
If Booster is put in the book, I hope him being Canadian is just a cover. I like the idea of him being from 25th century Gotham.
@jonny_anonymous: DC really need a cosmic universe outside of the GL books. They had the right idea with RHATO and while they are good in space a certain Dude is a red cape who is now fighting Helspont would be the perfect hero for the DCU cosmicverse.

JLA is going to be renamed JLC.
This is not gonna be a new title.
@z3ro180: exactly they are faaaaaar to reliant on the Lantern Corps when they have a whole breadth of characters they should be using
@jonny_anonymous: Superman, The Outlaws, Helspont, Majestic (the real one), Captain Atom hell even SHAZAMEY if the have a good idea. All those character would be awesome as cosmic heros. Superman alone is the champion of earth they could have him fly around the universe trying to stop Helspont from doing helsponty stuff.
@z3ro180: Not to mention the lesser known ones like the Omega Men and L.E.G.I.O.N and even Captain Comet and his crew of cosmic badasses that appeared in Action Comics recently
Great, more cosmic characters that aren't going to be cosmic >_>
The problem is that few people buy cosmic character beyond GL,remember threshold?

That's because pepole are jerks
@jonny_anonymous: Yeah but DC Comics could use GL shine light (lol) to introduce the other characters or a crossover, minisseries shwoing more of their cosmic side.

Forgetable characters, mediocre art and plot. Don't blame everything on the reader. Why would i buy threshold, when i can buy a title with better creative team and better characters. DC could put some really good talent and made threshold about characters we care like Adam Strange, Captain Comet or make a New Gods book.
The only reason Threshold was praised was because it was a cosmic title that wasn't a GL book, but that doesn't mean it was a good title.

@billy_batson: The art was mediocre at best and the overall plot was a futuristic hunger games.
Plus there isn't even one character that I actually cared about.
I only read issue 1-3 and then i dropped it.
@squalleon: I know, I said that. I just find it ridiculous that the JLA is no more after the team has just gotten assembled.
@squalleon: the overall plot OF THE FIRST ARC
@squalleon: the overall plot OF THE FIRST ARC
Which was mediocre at best....Threshold was gonna be an anthology. You don't start an anthology with a mediocre arc! For people to trust such a title you have to give them something above average.
The stories might change but the first arc was gonna be a preview of the quality of the book, it failed.
I know that this book had a following but for it to be cancelled so quickly means that it wasn't a big one.
@squalleon: It wasn't going to be an anthology it was just going to focus on a large cast of characters that weren't really connected to each other also DC cancelling a book quickly has 0 bearing on what it's following was like

The title fell below expectations both to them and to the readers. I don't blame them.
I blame them on I,Vampire and Demon Knights that cancelled them without trying to promote them first.
A cosmic team featuring:
Adam Strange
Martian Manhunter
John Stewart
Hawkman
A Monitor (one that is responsible for Earth Prime universe)
Tim Drake (a fresh start, allow him to return to being Batmans' protoge that is striking out on his own. He would be the non powered hero who represents a universe of regular beings.)
A legitimate Fourth World title is on my wish list.
