The Justice League is said to be comprised of "The Worlds Greatest Superheroes". The current incarnation of the League bares resemblance to the original pre-Crisis Justice League of America but features updated versions of its cast of characters for the DC Universe's New 52 continuity.

I really hope they put Vixen in the JLA soon, and they don't sideline BL to Earth-2. That would suck!
I'll be glad period if he is in JLA or Earth 2, I only pick up a handful of books. If he went off to JLI (I know it's getting cancelled) I wouldn't be able to read his stories at all!

Yup. Probably won't pick it up though. Heard DCUP was meh.

DCUP is test-the-waters book in which different characters are given a few issues, and depending on fan reaction, an ongoing may possibly spin-off from those issues. DCUP is written by different people anyway, so it is not consistently bad, or good either. With DCUP, I suggest buying the first book of this arc, and sticking with it if you like it.

The top seven people I like to see teamed up on the main league are Batman (Bruce), Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash (Barry), Green Lanturn (I'll take Hal, John, or Kyle), and Martian Manhunter. (Aren't I original?)
As for the additional eight slots, I also would like Hawkgirl (like in JL:TAS), Shazam, the Question (Renee Montoya preferably but I also like Vic Sage), Cyborg (I'd never have considered it pre-New 52 but he's grown on me), Black Canary, Green Arrow, Zatanna, and Red Tornado.
