I enjoyed this story a lot. In it, a gangster named Pete Ricketts uses an orange "flashlight" gizmo to control the JLA members. He then auctions them off to fellow crooks and makes them helpless to resist their orders. The JLA is then split into groups of two, each of them ordered to steal an item and to use all their power to stop the other member from stealing it themselves for their master. Helpless and powerless to resist the wills of the crooks and their masters, can it be that the JLA, the number one crime fighters, have truly become crimes slaves? Is their anything that can save them? Read to find out!
