World's Most Dangerous, Chapter Four: The Good, the Bad, and The Shaggy; Trial By Fire last edited by deactivated-66295eae3a574 on 09/07/23 10:32AM View full history

The League uncovers the leader of The Secret Society of Super-Villains—but can such a diverse group of heroes defeat the collective might of the Society? And in the backup story, Manhunter goes behind the scenes to learn more about the Secret Society!

The Good, The Bad and The Shaggy

Doctor Light is called to A.R.G.U.S. headquarters and Catwoman escapes from her chair in the Secret Society's headquarters. Meanwhile the Justice League of America (JLA) is on root to hind Catwoman as they lost contact after she was captured. What the JLA does not know is they have an ally who tagged along on the outside of their new Invisible Jet.

Once the JLA finds the Secret Society's headquarters they are attacked by the Shaggy Man. Catwoman on the other hand is confronted by Professor Ivo. Catwaom escapes Ivo only to be captured by Copper Head and the rest of the Secret Society. The story ends on a down note with Martian Manhunter being set on fire by Shaggy Man and Catwoman being shot in the head by the Outsider to draw in Batman.

    Trial By Fire

In the instant that Martian Manhunter is being burned by Shaggy Man he goes back in his mind to his origin story. He was to be the leader of his people and went off on a right of passage to be just that. When he came back everyone was dead and it looks like it may have been the work of Yellow Lanterns. This leave the Martian Manhunter the last of his race.

    Finally Something Worth Fighting 0

I have been loving this series, and it is quick becoming my favourite Justice League series, as although both Justice League, and Justice League Dark have phenomenal over the last couple of years, this series in it's short time has been going from strength to strength.PlotCatwoman has infiltrated the Secret Society of Super Villains' hideout, and is letting her curiosity get the better of her. Amanda Waller enlists the help of Dr. Light, and the Justice League of America follow his finding to th...

Wow... big ending.... too bad is feels clumsy and rushed. 0

I assume everyone knows that Catwoman is at the center of this issue's events. Even though she doesn't dominate the issue in space for her character, she is the only character of the many in the book that is highlighted individually. This spotlighted action culminates at the very last page and its shocking (eye roll) turn of events.I suppose this is what a cliffhanger is. A big event in the plot happens at the very end with an uncertain resolution that leaves us in suspense. Catwoman is the sub...
