Four heroes from the Justice League of Earth-One and four from the Justice Society of Earth-Two continue their battle against the forces of the Lord of Time. Enjoy the exciting conclusion of the annual JLA/JSA team-up in “Crisis from Tomorrow!”

The Justice League of America, and the Justice Society of America, travel into the future, on the Flash's Cosmic Treadmill. Superman is following the chronal energy trail of the Black Pirate, the Enemy Ace, Jonah Hex, Miss Liberty, and the Viking Prince. The five time-lost heroes attacked the Justice League of America, and the Justice Society of America, twice, leaving most of both teams in a comatose state. In a dimension bordering the year 3786, the Lord of Time awaits the arrival of the Justice League of America, and the Justice Society of America. The Lord of Time has foolishly tasked the Eternity Brain with, literally, stopping time. It will take a little under four hours for the Eternity Brain to complete this task.

With no way to abort the command, the Lord of Time is hoping the Justice League of America, and the Justice Society of America, will find a way to destroy the Eternity Brain. The five time-lost heroes storm the Palace of Eternity. The Eternity Brain draws a tyrannosaurus rex, from the distant past, to defend the Palace Of Eternity. The Enemy Ace attacks the tyrannosaurus rex, to draw it away from his comrades. The Eternity Brain draws horrific, reptilian apes, from some future era, to defend the Palace of Eternity. The five time-lost heroes are overwhelmed, and subdued. Unbeknownst to the Eternity Brain, the Lord Of Time engineered the attack, to test the Eternity Brain's defenses.

Aquaman meets with the doctor caring for the downed members of the Justice League of America, and the Justice Society of America. Aquaman reflects on the first meeting of the two teams. Aquaman offers to bring advanced medical equipment down, from the satellite headquarters of the Justice League of America. The Elongated Man doubts his simple power will be up to the task before them. The Justice League of America, and the Justice Society of America, crash into a massive reef, spread across the sea of eternity. The reef proves to be too dense for either Superman, or the Star-Spangled Kid, to penetrate it. The Star-Spangled Kid charges Superman up with stellar radiation. The Golden Age Wonder Woman then hurls Superman into the reef.

Superman successfully penetrates the reef, but the impact knocks him unconscious. The Justice League of America, and the Justice Society of America, storm the Palace of Eternity. The Hawkman is immediately cut down by a laser grid.. The Golden Age Wonder Woman deflects the laser grid, allowing the two teams to enter the Palace of Eternity. The Golden Age Wonder Woman, however, is also cut down by the laser grid. The Flash races into the Palace of Eternity, passing the five time-lost heroes, now in stasis. The Eternity Brain draws pterodactyls, from the distant past, to defend the Palace Of Eternity. Taken by surprise, the Flash is subdued by the pterodactyls. The Star-Spangled Kid destroys the pterodactyls.

The Eternity Brain draws a Hindu machine warrior, from some future era, to defend the Palace of Eternity. The robot quickly beats down Doctor Mid-Nite, the Huntress, and the Star-Spangled Kid. The Elongated Man destroys the robot. With only seconds to spare, before the Eternity Brain freezes time for eternity, the Elongated Man shorts the Eternity Brain out. The resulting explosion renders both the Elongated Man, and the Lord Of Time unconscious. Using the Silver Age Green Lantern's power ring to draw off the chronal radiation from the Justice League of America, and the Justice Society of America, revives them from their comas. The Justice League of America, and the Justice Society of America, then proceeded forward in time, to find their missing comrades. The Elongated Man recovers in the hospital, regaling his wife, Sue Dibny, with the tale of his triumph.

    Not That Good 0

'Crisis From Tomorrow', the followup to 'Crisis From Yesterday' has four JLAers and four JSAers traveling to the distant future to save the universe from a cataclysm of the Lord of Time's making. The trouble is, it's not all that great. The heroes have to overcome a lot of obstacles - but since the powers of all the heroes are just incredibly elastic - whatever problem the writer's need solved, they come up with one of the characters powers to handle it. Superman becomes a star energy javelin, Gr...
