Gladly
I am not really sure where this series is going or how it will get there, but if there is an interesting part of this series for me, its the breakdown of the characters. With an international cast it adds an extra feeling of relevance to global threats, but I also enjoy the breakdown along gender lines, with one of the best representation of female characters this side of Birds of Prey. Since starting to read this I have been kind of curious of Godiva. The character whose only ability is prehensile hair has served thus far as someone only to flirt with the main heroes and provide a bit of comic relief. She has even admitted that she doesn't belong on a team of such heroes as she is just a supernumerary. Of course, this is all set up for some character development of hers where she sees she can be a hero with the others, the first steps of which apparently occur here as the team struggles to battle the alien invader. This makes the issue the best thus far in the series, building on a good balance of plot, character development and action.
