Here Comes Trouble. And His Cousin Disaster 3
The Good: Blue Beetle gets to be on the 'Character Spotlight' cover? Sweet. It's drawn by Aaron Lopresti? Better. As per many issues, this one starts off with a one page look into a specific moment in a character's past that's relevant to the current issue. If you hadn't guessed, this one is Blue Beetle. Max makes due on his promise to come after the JLI if they come after him. Meanwhile Checkmate's shut down by the U.N. as Max's grand scheme starts to come together. Before the JLI can get their rescue mission off the ground in Tokyo, one of the Leagues heavy hitters arrives to take down Captain Atom.
