I thought that the price increase from2.99 to 3.99 was due to extra content, but it turns out that the page count is still 22 pages. Lets boycott the JLD for the next 2 issues to send a messagd that they can't be trying to pull bad business with us.

If you think about it, 1.00 increase is not that much but what if they start doind it to other titles that are currently 2.99 and don't add extra content. It could happen if we blindly buy JLD like nothing is going on.

The thing is that we all have to do it and not just one person. It has to be unanimous that we all step forward with this. I know, it hurts that we won't see one of our favorite comics for 2 issues, but come january, you can start picking it up again. You won't die from not reading the comic for 2 months. You can even try a title you've wanted to read from a different company to fill in the gap.

Bottom line is that other companies may be pulling this scam, but its up to us to keep DC honest. We are the best fans around and DC is the best company around but occasionally its up to us to get them in line.

Or, come January, DC sees that this book took a big hit in sales and decides that it's no longer worth it to them and decides to cancel it.

The problem with boycotting books is that the publishers have no idea WHY you're doing it. All they know is that you are. They look at the sales numbers. If sales are steadily dropping (I don't think this has particularly high sales anyways, does it?), then they're likely to cancel.

@mercy_: not really. They will corrilate the huge drop do to the price increase that just took effect this month :)

Does that huge 18 part crossover start the issue after this? If you want to stop buying it, wouldn't it be better to skip the whole crossover?
