I am also really glad that he is gone. All he real did is complain. Also glad MindWarp is gone too, that character didnt do anything.

I won't miss him.  I got sick of him talking about his M-Vest every third panel.  Let's get some fun magic characters on this team like Blue Demon, or just about anyone else from the Shadow Pact.

Sorry, but I'm so glad he's gone. He was my least favourite character. It'll make the book less whiny/complicated.

Shade is a really complicated character, specially if he is in a team comic book. Shade has more potential in a solo series, so I think it's for the best for all that he left the team

If anyone has read Shade the Changing Man in vertigo, would think otherwise. He is a really great character and I'm sad that he is gone.

I'll miss him. The reunion of Shade and Milligan was the reason I started picking up the book in the first place. Shade's Vertigo series from the '90's is probably one of the greatest modern superhero runs of all time. I was a little unsure of the way that Peter brought him back in JLD. He did come off as "whiny" (especially if you never read his series and had no context for his character) but it also felt like Milligan wasn't given the time to really establish his version of the team so we'll never know where this version of Shade was headed. Very frustrating especially since he left abruptly during a weak crossover. Here's hoping Shade will be back in his old form sometime down the road, and I encourage everyone to pick up the Shade series from Vertigo since it really is unique and fun.

Good luck to Jeff Lemire. I hope he can distract me from this disappointment.

    I still miss shade.

I wish he'll return to DCU. Maybe he doesn't even have to be on JLD.

Stormwatch, Suicide Squad or a solo ongoing by Milligan. Whatever it is.

Its better than not having him around.

F^$& Stephanie Brown, Donna Troy and Wally West, Shade, The Changing Man is the real loss.

Not really, grew a dislike to him for his utter incompetence that was the main feature of Secret Seven...and it just seemed to continue along that route in JLD, just glad he didn't kill anyone when he snapped.
