    "Whoa...There's No One Home."

    Synopsis

As the "team" slowly work their way together, Enchantress is hot on the hunt for the authentic June Moone!

    The Good

Generally the characters are starting to grow on me, us as the readers are now getting the real gist of who these misfits are. Constantine continues to be as rude and abrupt as you can imagine, I quite like what I thought was a faint homage to a scene in Watchmen (can you guess which one?).

The continuing struggle with Enchantress / June Moone is good, I love how all her doppelgangers are out and about murdering their way across the country. There are a couple of especially gruesome shots of the mayhem they are causing. You can't say this doesn't belong in the "Dark" corner of the New 52!

Carrying on with the morbid sights, Madam Xanadu is ever cracking up with the visions of potential futures and all she can see is death and pain left, right and centre. It's creepy and well illustrated to boot.

    The Bad

I'm still not seeing this as a team book. Surely, the characters are starting to gravitate their way towards each other, but for now they seem to just be pairing off as various status quos and character building is going on. It would be nice to see them actual work together as a team!

    Conclusion

The book is starting to pick up pace, but those expecting the expected team action will be disappointed.

The Good: The cover is sickeningly compelling, with such intense grotesque detail, I absolutely love it.... except, the extra words seems so unnecessary, and they pretty much eat up and ruin the effectiveness of the blank white space. It's frustrating because it appears that DC laid out the words in such a way to eliminate as much of the white space as possible, which is baffling because the white space is what makes this cover so gorgeous. The artwork continues to be something hard to properly ...

Story/WritingUnlike previous issues, this one focuses more on building up to the final confrontation with Enchantress rather than on the characters themselves, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. There are a few character-driven moments, such as June Moon bonding with Deadman, even saying that he's "way cooler than Superman", and Madame Xanadu struggling to cope with JL:D's impending doom, and the guilt of having a hand in it. There are a couple of other fun moments, such as a scene with Dove a...
