    It feels here like the Justice League is settling more so into their groove as opposed to trying to wow the readers at every turn.  I liked the previous issue although it wasn't liked by most, but here the same tone is present with just a little bit less character development.  The manner in which the Green Arrow interacts with the team is pretty well handled and the revelation about J'onn was also somewhat of a memorable moment, but it feels mostly like this is now just a dependable series, whi...

    After the six issue opening arc that seemed to plod along for far too long, the done-in-one's of issues 7 and 8 have been a relief, and make me all the more eager for the next longer story. Issue 8 sees Green Arrow try to join the Justice League, we learn why the Justice League are so unwilling to expand their membership, and a classic Leaguer reappears in a very unexpected way.I'm not going to say much in the way of Shazam.     So close. This issue was SO CLOSE to being a much needed 'decent' issue to allow me to slacken my hatred a bit, but no, Geoff Johns just HAD to make sure I hated him again this week.
