A decent start
Spoiler Alert!
I think the last couple of issues were a huge nod to the 70's and the Super-Friends. The fact that Darkseid is the first (main) villian. The fact that he actually fights them himself from the get-go, the bear hug he gives Supmernan and even the Super-Freinds reference at the end of this book.
The Good:
- The action and he references to stuff like Super-Friends were good.
- The art is fantastic a usual.
- Cyborg being a part of the JLA. This seems very interesting. He used to be in the Teen Titans during Superman Man Of Steel (Year One), but now he's straight away joined the Justice League. I hope they make his robotic half interesting like giving him some cool weapons.
The Bad:
- Darksied getting his hands dirty so early. He should have sent someone else first and then come himself. His personality seems different, but more like the way he was in the 70's.
- Way too much bickering again. That just gets annoying after a point. All of them seem like a bunch of kids.
- Hal Jordan is more annoying than Kyle Rayner if that's even possible.
- Batman being present during the President's speech. He's not supposed to show himself in public. I know he wanted the cops off his back, but there could have been another way to make that happen.
