An awesome conclusion to an awesome origin
I have to say, I started to wonder if this issue was going to be any good, due to the delays (that and Jim lee reminded me of what happened to All Star Batman). I didn't mind Batman revealing his identity to Hal, but the lack of explanation and the symbol things were weird. But this issue 100% redeems this series from the last issue. This version of how the JL formed is one of the best of them, next to maybe Grant Morison's and New Frontier. Cyborg's origin is a little choppy, and the fact the he was their "one shot," felt a little forced. Batman going off world to save Supes was awesome, and the way Geoff Johns writes him is very Morison- esque. I love how the League is still trying to get the hang of work as a team since this takes place 5 years ago, Aquaman's mutten chops, and how the whole Justice League (and Cyborg) comes together to beat Darkseid in the the end. The whole Pandora thing intrigues me, and I don't think she'll be Darkseid's daughter, though it looks like it may be that way. Awesome issue overall, 4.5 out of 5
