In life, a young man adopted by a Senator for the sake of his looks, he was eventually educated and became a scribe of the Caesar's law. When he became an unintentional wedge between Caesar and his lover he was executed. In death, he became a member of the Juris as the equivalent of a court judge.
Born in the time of ancient Sumer (Cradle of Civilization), Digol served as a Mashkim in the courts and was deceived in the law so that he was forced to die alongside the one to whom he was bound. In death, he serves as a member of the Juris in the equivalency of a court bailiff.

Pfaultz's man turned on him and Pfaultz was locked in a house until such a time that the plague had passed. In death, Pfaultz became a member of the Juris representing a soul's prosecution.
Very little is known of the Juris member known as Plyck. The spirit takes on the form of a fiery hand. Within it's main origin story, it is suggested that Plyck may be the hand that the Norse god Tyr lost to the wolf, Fenris. However, plotted within his origin story were four different stories of different people losing their hands in different way. With that said, Plyck simply represents the role a person plays in their own fate and, at least where witnesses are concerned, a higher judgement than the Juris

As a Negro teenager of the 1960's life wasn't easy for Ruby but when she came to have a love affair with a son of the mayor, things could only get worse. She was brutally murdered for her love. In death, she is a member of the Juris representing a soul's defense. Having joined the Juris in the mid-1960's, she is the newest member of the group. She replaced the Egyptian priestess named Maat.
