After studying Fine Arts at Bruxelles he meets Michetz and starts working for Spirou magazine. His most famous series are Yasuda, La jeune fille et le vent (The Little Girl and the Wind) and Kwaidan. He also has published an autobiographical comic book, Couleur de peau: Miel (Skin Color: Honey), and an erotic one, Okiya.
