Yes I agree with jack the Ripper. Juggernaut is awesome but I do not like how they make him unintelligent

Yeah, Juggernaut needs more respect.

Wow, only 3 posts on this one? Sad! Juggernaut is my favorite villian. I like him because he isn't the prototypical villian. He isn't bent on world domination or mass genocide. All he cares about is the mass aquisition of money, broads and booze. It doesn't hurt that he can easily handle about 85% of the superheroes in the MU either.

Ok first off why respect juggernaut? You can not handle Hulk period nor Thor, Silver Surfer, Dr.Strange, or Mephisto. Juggernaut is nice but he does not break any barriers. Sorry if I offended any one.

You gotta respect someone with the power of a god. Who kicks the heroes asses on a regular basis. Who isn't out for world domination.

Deep down you all love him for it.

I respect Cain Marko as Either The Juggernaut or Huggernaut as both showed different sides to his personality & plus the fact he doesn't need a yearly power up like other to seem unbeatable .. .

just look at any battle thread.  People usually say stuff like.  "oh, x will take off his helmet and beat his face in"  and so on.

and also, people always say that flying people can just throw him away.  They forget that he can make them stop flying in a similar fashion to what he did to Mjolnir; he can take their momentum.

That is probably because they just dont like juggernaut.  For example hulk vs juggernaut they would say that hulk would win.  But their avatar is a picture of the hulk.  Or hulk would knock juggernaut out.  When really he can only be hurt by people like onslaught.  But for some reason hulk strength is not on that level so how does he hurt juggernaut.  A better example is world war hulk vs trion juggernaut they said hulk would win HOW.  Trion Juggernaut is 1,000 feet tall.  But hulk has troble with regular juggernaut so how could he possibly beat juggernaut.  Also sometimes they just dont like juggernaut.

thats true.  Another reason is ignorance.  They think hes just another run of the mill big, strong guy.  And they think that his strength never increases.  Both of these are wrong.

A testament to Marvel recognizing the Hulk as "the strongest one there is" would be during the Onslaught period. It was only the Hulk's strength that proved to be needed to defeat him, when the Juggernaut succumbed to a weaker Onslaught. This would be in a X-men comic not the Hulk, so the excuse of they have to show that because it's his comic can't be used.

And what's wrong with the Onslaught feat? Let me guess, "bad writting", right?

Well, it's time to do justice about Juggernaut feats (Cain Marko)

Feats of Juggernaut’s strength

1) The feats of juggernaut’s strength are based on his fights and his ability to physically dominate their opponents in terms of strength, invulnerability and durability, reasons that justifies why he is the embodiment of pure physical power. His opponents can not defeat or overcome his physical force. Juggernaut’ weakness is to be KO'd only by telepathic assault.

2) Due to the many confrontation between Hulk and Juggernaut the two involves Hulk BFR Juggernaut for story progression rather then out right by defeating him through Hulk's main ability, strength, because the Hulk's brute strength (punches) is absolutely ineffective or is not an option against the Juggernaut. On the contrary, is proved the Juggernaut can kill the Hulk with his strength (punches or chokehold).

3) In comic fiction, Monster Magic >>> Monster Genetic Science due to limitless possibilities of magic, remember "Magic is just science that we can't understand" and is a power (supernatural) that is above all physical laws of the natural world that we know. In a sense magic is superior to science in fiction terms. Cain power source is simply greater then Hulk's.

4) During their last confrontation in WWH story arc. When Cain regain his true powers, he gave Hulk rather heavy one sided assault which almost turned into a real trashing to Hulk. At this point, Hulk has been angry length of time (increasing strength) from his prior battles with the X-Men. After Cain regain his powers, in two particular panels Cain toppled Hulk with one punch, then Cain's foot stomped Hulk to the floor and blood was spewing from Hulk's mouth by each of Cain’s punches. It shows Cain foot on Hulk's face, throughout the brawl Hulk seemed to received far more and seriously damage. It ended when Cain started to push back the Hulk and Hulk was forced to manage BFR Cain by releasing his hold (like a cheater) and stepping aside from Juggernaut's own forward momentum.

Some summaries of the Juggernaut’s fights in this thread I took from the Juggernaut fan page Reocities: http://www.reocities.com/Area51/Neptune/7060/main.html so I give it the credit.

Juggernaut vs Cyttorak (X-Men Unlimited #12, 1996)

In terms of strength feats, Juggernaut has knocked out Cyttorak in his own realm, where he is considered above Galactus and the Celestials themselves.

Juggernaut vs The Strange (X-Men Forever #6, 2001).

Also Juggernaut has toppled the mighty cosmic entity Stranger with one punch, twice, who'd grown to about 50 feet tall or more.

Juggernaut vs Thing (Secret Wars II #7)

With his unholy magnified powers the Thing rushes in to fight. He easily defeats ninety eight of the ninety nine villains but Mephisto seeing Thing single-handedly thwart his plan rips up the contract for Thing's soul. The Juggernaut is the last malefactor standing. Going toe-to-toe with The Juggernaut with only his original strength Ben Grimm puts up a valiant stand for about 5 seconds. The Juggernaut stomps right up to him and tells Thing that he'll regret standing in his way. To make good on his claim The Juggernaut swipes Thing across the chest. Then Juggernaut follows up with a left cross that rocks Thing further. He finishes by putting Thing down with a double fisted hammer blow. Without even landing a single hit on his opponent the Thing recieves a swift pummelling that renders him unconscious moments later. The Juggernaut took the Fantastic Four's Thing down for the count in seconds with just 3 successive blows. Thing would arise, only to fall back down unconscious.

Because of his invulnerability it's often overlooked how strong The Juggernaut is. This is another good example of how much Juggernaut can dish out to put along with how much he can take. Favorite Issue Quote: "It is done! Now the Thing shall surely be swept aside. For my sole remaining minion is The Juggernaut who is virtually unstoppable!" (Mephisto, after he had just ripped up the contract for Thing's soul returning him to normal power).

Juggernaut vs Colossus (Uncanny X-Men #183)

Colossus broke up with Kitty. Rather coldly at that. Kitty was crushed and her surrogate big brother,Wolverine, was none too pleased by Piotr Rasputin's less than delicate methods. Logan told Colossus he was coming with him to town for a few drinks. And it was not a request. Nightcrawler knew what Logan's intentions were and decided that he needed to come along to try to diffuse a nasty situation. Logan was going to have a few drinks with Peter, and then they were going to step outside. At least, that was the plan. But Wolverine picked up a scent at the tavern that was all too familiar. He scans the tavern they were in and finds the source: Cain Marko. Sitting at the bar making moves with a woman he had met there.

Logan wisely wants to avoid any confrontation with The Juggernaut so he instructs Nightcrawler to teleport outside and grabs Peter's hand to lead him out too. But when Peter yanks his hand back in protest he spills his beer on The Juggernaut's face. Peter then offers to pay the man for the accident but that wasn't good enough. He pushes Peter to send him crashing through a door with potentially lethal force. Apparently Cain does not like to have his pick-ups interrupted. Especially when the woman he's putting moves on is none other than the seductive Selene, then future Black Queen of New York's prestigious HellFire Club's Inner Circle.

Colossus comes back into the room angry, armored up, and ready to throw down with this mysterious strongman who had just nearly killed him for nothing. Nightcrawler fearing for the strange man's safety says he and Logan should stop the steel powerhouse from annihilating the poor guy. But Wolverine tells him to just watch. That Colossus was the one in trouble there. The two heavy hitters trade a couple swings with only Colossus connecting any, then Colossus snaps off a support beam to use as weapon. Cain then rips up a good section of the bar and after revealing that he was The Juggernaut smashes it over Colossus's head. The fight seemingly over already and Selene having slipped away during the throwdown,a disappointed Cain Marko turns to walk away. Colossus rises and charges Cain from behind knocking him into the back cellar room. Cain then regathers and the two square up face to face again. A punch from Cain puts an end to that as Colossus goes flying headfirst through the wall and back into the bar. Colossus is out of it after just one of The Juggernaut's "Sunday punches". He's lying motionless on the barroom floor but Cain wants to make sure he gets his point across. He rips out an entire wall, causing all the floors of the building to collapse on top of both of them putting an exclamation point on the fight for Colossus. Colossus was knocked out by Juggernaut with one "sunday" punch.

Cain then finds Wolverine and Nightcrawler standing outside. He tosses them a wad of cash to give to the owner for the damages to his place. Because that's just the type of guy the Juggernaut is.

Favorite Issue Exchange:

The Juggernaut-"Top that fella, if you can."

Wolverine-"Not too shabby Muscles."

The Juggernaut-"I missed you clowns? How come?"

Wolverine-"Just lucky, I guess."

The Juggernaut- "You lookin'fer a piece o' this action?"

Wolverine-"Nope."

The Juggernaut-"Smart play, shrimp."

Cain and Logan after Cain had just brought the building down on himself and Colossus.

Juggernaut vs Colossus (Others appearances, X-Men # 172, 1976)

Juggernaut defeated Storm by projecting energies. Also he knocked out Colossus and defeated all the X-Men simultaneously!

Juggernaut vs Wolverine (X-men # 172, 1976)

Juggernaut defeated Wolverine by knocking him out with a mere slap!

Juggernaut vs The Blob(Uncanny X-Men #465)

A depowered Juggernaut lifted the immovable Blob and put him as a plug to block a trans-temporal hole created by Phoenix.

Juggernaut vs Venom (Venom: The Madness, part 1)

The Juggernaut fought Venom in Venom:The Madness (part 1). They had confrontations in all 3 parts of the Madness storyline but this was only time they really got into it. This wasn't actually a good match competition-wise, but I liked it because it really put into perspective just what it means to go up against a foe who cannot be hurt. Venom is a mean fighter and it was interesting to see him in a battle where his viciousness was so ineffective. This fight was pretty lopsided as one would expect, with Juggy starting the domination early, knocking Venom through the window into a car across the street. Venom was able to regather and launch 3 quick blows (his only ones), but apparently Juggernaut wasn't amused and simply batted Venom away and proceeded to smash a telephone pole across his face. Right before grinding it into the side of Venom's head which was pressed against the concrete from Juggy flattening him earlier... Yeah. It was that bad.

I'm not sure how Venom is still conscious after that, but he is. Luckily for Venom though the street gives way before his face does and both combatants fall underground. There, some kind of living slime begins "speaking" to Venom. This distracted him and, believe it or not, the fight got worse. Juggernaut wasn't distracted at all and continued a brutal beating. He punch sandwiches Venom's head between his fists. He stomps Venom into the ground and He... You get the idea… Venom was -nearly- brutally killed by Juggernaut with one punch.

Editorial: "Frankly, there is no way in Hell Venom takes this throttling conscious throughout the duration. Unless his durability was augmented 30-fold before this story he should have been a motionless heap of alien symbiote and bitter reporter by only the second page. It should have been over long before the beating went from harsh to midieval. Despite Venom's apparent nigh-invulnerability though it is revealed in the next issue that The Juggernaut's pounding had in fact nearly killed him. But still..."

This child abuse was mercifully ended by a final punch from The Juggernaut sending Venom unconscious into the slime. Venom was knocked out by Juggernaut (although Venom was apparently killed by Juggernaut according to the last panel) but he was saved by the living mercurial mud which revived him and powered him up. The Juggernaut walks off assuming Venom was dead. As any sane man would considering what someone in The Juggernaut's weight-class had just done to him.

Oh. Why the were fighting you ask? Well,The Juggernaut was sent to kidnap Venom's girlfriend. Which made it that much sadder because not only did Venom not stop him from taking her,but getting pummeled so cruelly in front of her nearly made the poor girl cry...

Favorite Fight Quote: "You ain't nuthin' little man. A nasty paira eyeballs and a sick set of chompers is nothin' to The Juggernaut." (The Juggernaut, looming over a dazed Venom whom he'd just swatted through a window, across the street, and smashing into a car).

Juggernaut vs Captain Britain (Excalibur #3, 1988)

A Juggernaut's punch sent Captain Britain into digging a mile long trench in the ground with his body. Later Capt Britain was easily pummeled by Juggernaut.

Juggernaut vs Thunderstrike (Thunderstrike #2, 1993)

Eric Masterson confronts Juggernaut and attempts to stop him by pushing him back, however, the Juggernaut casually continues walking with Eric's force having zero affect on him, at which point Eric falls over, and Juggs steps onto the back of his head and keeps on trucking. The Juggernaut was walking over Thunderstrike as if nothing. Eric was humiliatingly and literally stomped!

Juggernaut vs Rhino (The Uncanny X-Men #435)

Rhino was brutally knocked out (almost killed) by a depowered Juggernaut.

#42 Edited by kenshiroo (995 posts) - - Show Bio

Juggernaut vs Prime (All New Exiles Vol.1, 1996)

Despite having suffered a significant power loss, the Juggernaut's diminished might was still enough to beat up with Prime in a test of strength. The Juggernaut is next seen slamming Prime through a wall easily.

Juggernaut vs Skaar (Hulk #602, 2009)

Juggernaut punched Banner so hard that he caused giant earthquakes nearby, and despite of the fact Banner had his Bannertech shield up, he still felt the pain of those tremendous blows. Then Skaar interrupted their fight and the battle between him and Juggernaut began. Skaar made one successful hit, but the rest of the battle was definitely not in his favor. Juggernaut rained powerful blows one after another, until Skaar was brutally knocked down. Using his Old Power, Skaar reverted back to his child form, which temporarily stopped Juggernaut from landing hits on him (because Skaar was begging Juggernaut not to hit him again), then with Juggernaut distracted by Banner, he didn't notice that Skaar changed back to his Hulk form. Skaar ran and smacked Juggernaut high into the air by using his Old Power. They continued to battle in the sky, until they landed in a large chasm with lava flowing deep in the bottom. Skaar made Juggernaut think that they're on the same side, as both of them hated Banner. They teamed up and were flying on a giant rock out of the chasm, but in the end Skaar tricked Juggernaut again and pushed him from behind, so Juggernaut fell from the rock and while he was landing, Skaar used his Old Power to punch Juggernaut into orbit, removing him from the battlefield.

The physical defeat of Skaar against Juggernaut was by far more fast and violent (in three punches) than the fight that held against his father Hulk, which lasted a good while. In fact, in one of his memories, Skaar berated to Hulk when he was used as a punching bag by the Juggernaut.

Juggernaut vs Hulk (Hulk # 172)

Hulk started it off by charging into The Juggernaut's back without effect. The Juggernaut responds by giving the Hulk a ram of his own which knocked him over a butte. Not relenting, Cain then rushes through the butte and battered Hulk against another one. Hulk manages to down The Juggernaut with a two-fisted hammer while Cain was bent over from ramming him. Hulk then ripped up the rock bed Cain's body was on and sent him flying out of sight.

The Hulk stood there thinking where the Juggernaut is but Cain is peering at Hulk from above on a cliff, thinking to himself how that since no physical force can stop him that the Hulk was doomed. Cain then comes torpedoing down on Hulk, slamming him to the ground. As the Juggernaut loomed over him, Hulk tells him that he's been knocked down before but he always gets up. A point he emphasizes by raising to one knee and backpunching the Juggernaut but the Juggernaut as if nothing then says that Hulk has never fought anyone like the Juggernaut. While the Hulk was growing tired and his attacks getting weaker, the Juggernaut remains fresh and only gets stronger. A point Juggernaut emphasizes by taking Hulk's fatigued backhand like nothing and kicking Hulk to the ground. The Juggernaut then tells Hulk only because he considers Hulk nearly his equal in power that he was going to be quick about killing him. Juggernaut wanted Hulk to rule with him and didn't really want to destroy him but he had to. An act, the Juggernaut gets on Hulk's back and was going to perform by breaking Hulk's neck.

The Juggernaut grabs the Hulk by his face and hair to twist his neck and the Hulk screams in pain and anger. However, a madder Hulk manages to grab Juggernaut's helmet and begins to spin him around so fast that it take off, sending the Juggernaut to crash into the corner of a mountain. Disconcerted by what happened, the Hulk moves away but the Juggernaut stands up quickly and gets to ready to attack him until the X-Men arrived and Professor X used his telepathic powers to put Juggernaut down due he had lost his helmet during the fight.

Conclusion, during the battle, the Juggernaut's physical power seemingly had the advantage over Hulk in terms of raw strength and durability to the point he got on Hulk's back and almost broke his neck. Juggernaut’s punches were stronger that of Hulk (Juggernaut's punches hurt and weakened Hulk) and Hulk’s punches were ineffective against the Juggernaut, so Hulk was forced to manage a Battle Field Removal option on him by grabbing his helmet.

Favorite issue exchange:

Juggernaut: “what a cosmic pity that you chose to battle me, Hulk? Together we could have strode across this planet like gods, the perfect teaming of science and sorcery!

Hulk: “Hulk has been knocked down before, Juggernaut…”

Juggernaut: “Alone I must be the merciless conqueror forced to smash the one ally I would have gladly taken!”

Hulk: “…but Hulk has always gotten back up!"

Juggernaut: “but not his time, monster! Your attacks are getting weaker by the minute, even as mine grow stronger! And though I regret the necessity of destroying one I consider nearly my physical equal… and destroy you I shall!”. In response to the infectivity of Hulk punches on the Juggernaut in the moment when Juggernaut almost breaks Hulk’s neck.

Juggernaut vs Prof. Hulk (Hulk #402, 1993)

In one of his many fights with Hulk, wearing street clothes instead his armor, the Juggernaut nearly drowned the Hulk by forcing Hulk's head underwater with one hand. Hulk had to use silt from the riverbed in Juggernaut's eyes to make the Juggernaut release his grip on his neck and save his own life, because Hulk could not to release himself by his own strength. Later, the Juggernaut knocked out the Hulk by pummeling him with his fists; Juggernaut put the Hulk in a chokehold with one arm and punched once his face with the other hand, almost killing him. When the Juggernaut was about to deal a final blow to kill the Hulk, Red Skull had to order the Juggernaut to stop himself. Red Skull comes in and calls Juggernaut off saying: "Don't kill him, Cain. He may be of some use." This is another prove which determines conclusively that Juggernaut can kill the Hulk.

Although Hulk was restricting initially to fight because he did not want to hurt his opponent (because he did not know who was he) Hulk was not stupid enough to be killed, so when his life was at risk he had to fight and defend with all seriousness, however, that was not enough to avoid being knocked out and nearly being killed by the Juggernaut.

I should clarify for Hulk's fans in Hulk #404; Hulk was being mentally controlled by the Red Skull through Mentallo’s hypnosis and teamed up with the Juggernaut under the pretense that Juggernaut was his father. Juggernaut is so pleased that he compliments Bruce but Bruce knows that Juggernaut can’t be his father because he never complimented him so the Hulk in his mind, slowly starts to come out of it and knows that the Juggernaut is not his father so hits him suddenly.

The Juggernaut never fought with this Hulk in this moment because he thought Hulk was remained under his control as an ally all the time (thanks to Mentallo’s hypnosis). Hulk only managed to hit unexpectedly Juggernaut, it was not a fight or a declared battle which is why the Juggernaut did not expect that adverse reaction of Hulk and did not react to fight with him. It's like someone being your friend, he turn to you suddenly and violently hit you for no reason. Mentallo tries to regain control but the Hulk rejects it and causes a massive psychic backlash that knocks everybody out, including the Juggernaut.

Juggernaut vs World War Hulk (World War Hulk - X-Men #03)

In the second battle, Juggernaut made World War Hulk spit out or cough blood on the first blow to his jaw, knocking him down, then Juggernaut stomped WWH's head into the ground, and he headbutted him in the gut, harming the Hulk (he cough blood again). In between all that WWH got in one blow total was a double hammer fist uppercut that barely even budged the Juggernaut face and slightly dented his helmet. Again, Juggernaut’s punches and movements were stronger that of Hulk and Hulk could not avoid being humiliated in that form; It was a real thrashing for Hulk. Later, with their hands locked up in a grapple, they began to push each other in a test of strength. Juggernaut has won before, he told at Hulk while the Hulk was declaring Cain's imminent death at one moment, then upon realizing Hulk can't do it because the Juggernaut started to push back the Hulk, Hulk was forced to accept he could not stop the Juggernaut's forward motion, so Hulk chose the BFR option conveniently presented itself when Charles Xavier did distract Cain by yelling out him that if he kept pushing back the Hulk the whole mansion would collapse. In this moment, Hulk suddenly released his hold and sidestepped Juggernaut (he cheated Cain); which caused Juggernaut to continue moving forward and with added push in his back he ran violently until finally crashed into a lake nearby, being himself removed from the battlefield. Juggernaut in this battle clearly was the strongest and Hulk was unable even to make him the slightest scratch, not to mention that Juggernaut made Hulk swallow his words. Hulk had to give up or surrender to Juggernaut (in the test of strength) by releasing his hold and sidestepping him because he could not resist the superior physical force of Juggernaut (unstoppable forward motion).

The most funny, the Juggernaut had the luxury of turning his face to look at Charles while he was pushing Hulk back as if nothing, anyone would think Hulk got scared at Juggernaut, that's why he used a cheap move like that. Since the beginning of the battle Hulk was very angry and said clearly Cain was a goal to destroy by the Hulk, however the Hulk was forced to accept the physical superiority of Juggernaut and used the cheap move like we have seen.

Favorite issue excahnge:

Juggernaut: “Forget the walking wounded, Hulk. You got unfinished business.

Hulk: “Huh? Who said that?

Juggernaut: “I did. Maybe you remember me… I’m the Juggernaut!!

Juggernaut: “We’ve done… this dance before, Hulk. And I won!”

Juggernaut vs War Hulk (Hulk #457)

Hulk boosted with Apocalypse's enhancements (made with Celestial tech) which increased his strength far beyond his limits, had already been pushed back all over Egypt by Juggernaut just until the time when Hulk was able to pause him for a second, matching his strength. However, Hulk was aware that he could not hold it for too long which is why he used the whip to grab Juggernaut by the feet and throw him enough away to remove him from the battlefield. The Celestial technology contains a kind of cosmic energy which combined with Hulk's gamma radiation had some effect on the Juggernaut's magical powers. It was necessary to power Hulk up with that Celestial tech to carry him at least at the same level of the Juggernaut's power and stand a brawl.

Favorite issue exchange:

Juggernaut: “Come on Hulk! Where’s the olo boasting? The battle cries?

Why aren’t you bellowing about how you’re the strongest one there is? Could it be because… you know it’s not true?

Hulk: “No. Because it’s just too obvious”

After a few exchanges of blows, it is curious that Hulk has to rely on the Apocalypse’s enhancements with the use of a whip and a sword to try at least to be a threat to Juggernaut. Would Hulk offset some kind of inferiority complex in his strength? Moreover, despite all Hulk’s strength boosted and his gadgets, the same Marvel writers responded to their fans with this, I quote:

1) In Hulk # 457, another Hulk fan asks if Hulk’s physical strength was increased by Apocalypse's gadgets in order to match the Juggernaut's strength, because since the last meeting Hulk was defeated by Juggernaut's strength, so Green Mail responds:

“Apocalypse’s enhancements did increase the Hulk’s strength, Steve, so in #457 did not give a true indication as to who is stronger, Hulk or Juggernaut” Green Mail Hulk #465.

GREEN MAIL HAS STATED SEVERAL TIMES THAT JUGGERNAUT IS AT LEAST AS STRONG AS THE HULK IF NOT THE STRONGER. Green Mail is a reputable source considering it's a part of Marvel themselves. Here's 2 Green Mails letters on the subject, scans here:

2) A Hulk a fan asks if Hulk is the strongest superhero on Earth and Green Mail replies him: “… But current opinion around Marvel HQ writers is that it is the Juggernaut, because of the limitless power of Cyttorak he can call upon” Green Mail, Hulk # 424. Marvel HQ writers stated Juggernaut is the strongest one.

3) Another Hulk fan wrote something about how the Hulk has the potential for unlimited strength whereas the Juggernaut doesn't. To this, Green Mail replies: “We checked with our experts here at Marvel, Jimmy, and they say that the Juggernaut has the potential to draw on the limitless power of the mystical energy of Cyttorak! So it is possible for Juggy's strength to increase!” Green Mail, Hulk #432.

4) I found a quote by Tom Brevoort, an editor and senior VP of Marvel publishing, someone asked how powerful is Cyttorak compared to Zom and Shuman Gorath, Brevoort replied Cyttorak is an abstract mystic being so “I would place him well above Zom, and likely above Shuma Gorath depending on circumstances”

5) Juggernaut has virtually limitless strength and durability according to OHOTMU

6) Juggernaut was able to "defeat" the One Above All incarnated as Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in comics. It is a satire but it's cool.

7) Juggernaut's limitless kinetic power is mentioned in Thunderbolts!

Juggernaut vs Savage Hulk (Marvel Adventures #10, 2008)

Ok, it is noncanon but is a good example that shows what would happen if these two are facing in brawl. Juggernaut's first blow sends violently the Hulk crashing through the pillar out of the cavern, when the Hulk gets up and attacks again he cannot stop the Juggernaut's forward movement and is easily pushed back. The Juggernaut will then another tremendous blow which sends the Hulk flying off the mountain, knocking Hulk down. Soon Jones and Yoink put the amulet around Juggernaut's neck and it magically binds him. But the Hulk comes attacking again, fueled with rage; he punches the amulet that has Juggernaut trapped, destroying it and freeing him. Juggernaut thanks the Hulk for his luck and they brawl again. While the Hulk punches Juggernaut over and over and has no way of hurting him, Juggernaut will begin to push the Hulk back again. But this time the Hulk uses the Juggernaut forward motion to pick him up and throw him back into the cavern causing a massive avalanche (Using a BFR again). The Hulk will grab Rick and Yoink and leap away to safety. Next time we see Juggernaut, buried alive in the cave trapped but he begins to move.

Again it is evident that Juggernaut's blows are stronger than Hulk. Then, in a test of strength, Juggernaut won by pushing Hulk back toward a mountain edge until knocking him down with one tremendous punch. While the Hulk punches are ineffective on Juggernaut, the Hulk realize can not stop the Juggernaut with his strength he uses his cunning to grab him and throw him inside the cave.

The juggernaut proved to have superior physical power to Hulk. By the way, it should be pointed that in a test of strength with their hands locked in a grapple, Juggernaut has been able to push back the strongest incarnations of Hulk many times (Savage Hulk, War Hulk and World War Hulk), proving that his endless kinetic strength (forward momentum) is unstoppable (Marvel Adventure Hulk # 10, 2008; The Incredible Hulk #457, 1997; World War Hulk - X-Men # 3, 2007).

Juggernaut vs Hulk (Defenders #10, 2001)

This canon shows how the Savage Hulk with the Defenders were attacked by villains under the control of Orrgo. Juggernaut is among the many that attacked and overwhelmed the heroes. In the panel, Juggernaut just applied a submission hold (masterlock) on Hulk which put him in an immobilized and helpless state, being hit with such impunity by Abomination. This shows clearly that Juggernaut was the strongest one because had the strength to hold and stop the Hulk. The battle royal ended when the spell is finally broken and the villains become free of the mind control.

Juggernaut vs Thor, first battle (Thor #412, 1989)

During Acts of Vengeance, Juggernaut was pitted against Thor by Loki. Thor attempted to smash Juggernaut with his hammer but Juggernaut not only caught it, he also rode the hammer back to its Master and nearly killed Thor in one hit (he was knocked out). Later, during the fight, Juggernaut proved to be invulnerable to Thor's God-force blast (which caused Galactus to flee for his life on one occasion and broke the prime Celestial’s protective dome). However, the two opposing forces were too great and the ground itself collapsed so the Juggernaut fell into a crevasse. Namorita and Nova begin filling the crevasse up with steel girders and Firestar melts them down to seal Juggernaut in a cocoon when it cooled. Thor realizes not even this can hold The Juggernaut long so he quickly uses Mjolnir to teleport the cocoon the Juggernaut is molded into to another dimension before he can break out since the they had no way of stopping him. Thor is proven right as the Juggernaut explodes free from the 40-foot cocoon of solid steel just by flexing his arms, however, the Juggernaut realizes he was too late; the team had managed to send him into a populated alien world in which he made himself the absolute ruler by his own hand.

Juggernaut recognizes in one panel, that nobody, not Spiderman, not Hulk, not even the X-Men can defeat him by physical force.

Favorite Fight Quote:

"Time to face reality pal. You're just too mired in your own macho thing to admit it when you're outclassed." The Juggernaut, as he downed a weakened Thor by ramming a boxcar into him.

Juggernaut vs Thor, second fight (Thor #429, 1991)

During the second fight when Excalibur and Thor went looking for Juggernaut, they found him as King of the alien world. The fight begins with Cain throwing several blows that Thor deftly evades, however, he decides to strike The Juggernaut with all his might with his hammer. This naturally doesn't faze The Juggernaut at all and only puts Thor in position to receive an uppercut. The Juggernaut rushes Thor into a wall and continues to attack.

Thor dodges and The Juggernaut's punch hits the wall. The next panel Thor is somehow now standing several yards from The Juggernaut and unleashes some kind of beam from Mjolnir. Thinking it just another of Thor's useless attacks The Juggernaut chides him for a wasted effort. Thor explained that the blast was to discern the nature of Cain's incredible power. The beam told Thor that it was mystical. Thor then threw Mjolnir which flew by Juggernaut's head and ended up flying out of a castle window. After making fun of Thor's aim The Juggernaut advanced upon the unarmed Thor but the purpose of his "inaccurate" toss of Mjolnir would soon become shockingly clear to Cain.

Thor used his hammer to create a spinning vortex which cut off just the juggernaut’s invulnerability and forcefield for 60 seconds. Thor then was able to now lay hits on The Juggernaut and being a much better hand-to-hand combatant Thor rains blow after blow on The Juggernaut not allowing him any time to regain his bearing, however, the Juggernaut refuses to fall stating “defeat” is not in his vocabulary. The 60 seconds time was up and Juggernaut regained his invulnerability. Thor's valiant effort goes for naught as The Juggernaut recovers completely from the barraging assault the instant his protective spell returns.

Seeing the success Thor had after he discerned the nature of his power Cain decided that since Mjolnir must be the source of Thor's power that if he got it he would be unbeatable as well as unstoppable. He also was pretty sure that Thor wouldn't give it up willingly so he decides to pick up a stone pillar and beat it out of him. But Cain finds when he goes to lift Mjolnir that he can't even budge it. To him this didn't add up since he knew he was at the very least Thor's equal in strength and Thor lifts it easy. As Mjolnir returned to his hand Thor explains that Mjolnir can only be lifted by those of the right character.

Realizing that trying to actually fall The Juggernaut is impossible Thor devises a way to remove the unstoppable menace. Thor begins twirling his hammer to create a powerful windstorm. The Juggernaut effortlessly walks through it towards him and says he going to win by a knockout but when Cain reaches out to grab Mjolnir Thor wraps Cain's wrist in the hammer's unbreakable band. Thor then flings his hammer (with The Juggernaut attached) into space onto a meteor. Thor again avoided getting beaten by throwing Juggernaut through a portal to an isolated meteorite in space so Thor has never out right beaten Juggernaut as long as Juggernaut has had the power of Cyttorak. Thor was forced to use a Battle Field Removal (BFR) again in order to avoid being defeated by Juggernaut.

Juggernaut said "That was before ya faced me! I am the living embodiment of raw power who is totally resistant to all forms of pain or injury. You can grow weak and be defeated. I can't!” The Juggernaut explaining why despite all his boasting Thor was again put on his back.

8th Day Juggernaut vs Thor (The Mighty Thor #17, 1999).

In the Wager of the Octessence, Cyttorak was causing the Juggernaut to subconsciously tap into his near-unlimited potential power, making him even stronger than usual. In this unnatural mental state the Juggernaut trashed Thor effortlessly. Juggernaut almost killed Thor by snatching up him in a bearhug that Thor couldn't break free from. Thor felt like he was going to blackout from being crushed, however, his life was saved by the intervention of Bedlam‘s psionic attack that pulled Thor away from Juggernaut.

8th Day Juggernaut vs The Exemplars (Juggernaut - The Eighth Day, 1999 4/4)

Juggernaut with Exemplars captured heroes, they were teleported to North Pole with God-Engine, but Juggernaut refused to destroy the will of humanity so he fought against Cyttorak’s influence by confronting on astral plane by Xavier, so Cain overcame Cyttorak’s influence and he opposed to his fellow Exemplars. Juggernaut solo (via his physical force) defeated Bedlam, Decay, Conquest, Carnivore and Stonecutter, besides destroyed the core of God-Engine, resulting in mystical chain reaction that scattered Exemplars’ essences around the globe.

So Juggernaut just defeated almost all his fellow Exemplars whom had defeated the Avengers, formed with Thor, Hercules, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, etc.. (Avengers Assemble #3).

Bedlam was knocked out by Juggernaut

Decay was knocked out by Juggernaut

Conquest was knocked out by Juggernaut with one punch

Carnivore was nearly killed by Juggernaut when he was crushing his bones

Stonecutter was pushed back and slammed twice by Juggernaut through a wall and the God-machine engine which it was destroyed

Juggernaut tapping into his near-limitless power called upon from Cyttorak (Trion Saga)(X-Men # 88, 1999 and Uncanny X-Men #369, 1999)

Possessed by the Trion’s own dark side by tapping into Cyttorak’s power, the Juggernaut was enabled to physically crush and tear down multiple dimensional barriers by punching them with his physical force, in order to find and kill the powerful Trion Gods (creators of the Triple Evil force). During his rampage, the Juggernaut ripped through the continuum space and time to pass out from one dimension to another, which caused the merger of several dimensions. Moreover, Juggernaut was able to split the very fabric of space-time itself whose rupture was expanding through the unearthly Trion’s universe in which he was. At the end, Storm channeled magical energies from Mojo's realm to cure the unearthly Trion Universe and save the life of all.

Juggernaut digging into the bedrock

Juggernaut can dig effortlessly into the bedrock, enduring unimaginable compressive forces under the earth's surface with pressures of hundreds of thousands cubic meters of rocks, clay and stone over all his body. Also Marko was able to use an estimated strength of hundreds billions of metric tons to fracture the North American tectonic plates by digging into the bedrock with his bare fists along thousands of kilometers. He was crushing and displacing all the mass of solid layers of rocks, which by the action of gravity were trying to crush him. This represents one of his most impressive feats of strength and durability (The Amazing Spider-Man #629, 2010). Even Spiderman was very impressed by this feat!

Once time, Spider-Man managed to defeat Juggernaut by luring him into some wet cement of a concrete foundation, which he sunk through to the bottom. It took Juggernaut a month to come up of the surface, which he did by digging into the bedrock as it was explained above.

North American tectonic platesfractured by Juggernaut's physical force

Previously, in a similar event, the Juggernaut withstood the weight and dug himself out of a trillion tons of rock and rubble that fell on him (Uncanny X-Men #12).

Juggernaut vs Captain Universe (The Amazing Spider-Man #629, 2010)

During the second brawl, suddenly, Captain Universe appeared again, wanting the revenge on the Juggernaut. However, this time he was not so lucky as before and Juggernaut quickly handled him and was about to land a finishing blow. Spider-man said Juggernaut not kill Captain Universe, but the latter took advantage of Cain's distraction and teleported them both to an unearthly realm.

Juggernaut punches

Juggernaut’s punches cause massive earthquakes on the Richter magnitude 8 scale (Incredible Hulk #602, 2009).

Fighting against an army brigade, Juggernaut punched the ground so hard it created an earthquake that cracked through a whole valley and shattered a hill that crumbled down on them (Uncanny X-Men #33, 1963).

On other occasion, fighting against his fellow exemplar Stonecutter in a toe-to-toe battle, the punches they threw to one another caused earthquakes and was said to be the greatest fury ever unleashed on Earth (Juggernaut: The Eighth Day #4, 1999).

The Juggernaut caused the entire X-Mansion to shake and nearly collapse by stomping from all the way at the front gates of the estate and was said to be using only a fraction of his power to accomplish it (Uncanny X-Men #12).

Other feats of strength

Shattered a wall 50 times the tensile strength of battleship steel as though it were a "thin layer of plywood"(Uncanny X-Men #12, 1963).

Juggernaut collapsed a whole skyscraper (a World Trade Center tower) with a ram of his shoulder (Spider-Man #16, 1991).

He knocked out several of the Generation-X members simply by clapping his hands together (Generation-X #61, 2000).

Juggenaut vs D'Spayre boosted to a reality warper level (Juggernaut Master of Disaster, One shot- 1997)

The fraction of his power given to the Juggernaut was stated by D'Spayre to be able to control the very fabric of the Universe itself. Plundering Cyttorak’s energies from Juggernaut, D'Spayre (a mighty Fear Lord) was boosted to a near-omnipotent state or reality warper, being able to warp the universe. In this sense, D’Spayre used his new reality warping powers to create a portal to Oblivion and reduce the Juggernaut to skeleton at one point until an enraged Juggernaut managed to defeat him.

In the first panel D'Spayre states that the juggernaut is a supplier of a near limitless power.

Plundering Cyttorak’s energies from Juggernaut, D'Spayre (a mighty Fear Lord) was boosted to a near-omnipotent state, being able to warp the universe.

Even a D'Spayre boosted as a reality warper with a fraction of Cyttorak’s energy which granted him a nigh-unlimited power could not disintegrate molecularly the Juggernaut.

Juggernaut vs Nightmare boosted with Eternity’s cosmic powers (Doctor Strange Vol.1 #182).

When the Cyttorak's avatar, the Juggernaut, learned some spells from Crimson Cosmos he was able to overpower the demon Nightmare in his domain. At that time Nightmare imprisoned Eternity by forcing every sentient being in the universe to sleep, causing Eternity to fall in a dream state, which allowed Nightmare to control him and use his cosmic powers to destroy the Earth. However, given the inability of Dr. Strange to free Eternity, Juggernaut suddenly bounce into Nightmare’s realm by using certain magical skills of Cyttorak’s powers which he learned during his exile in the Crimson Cosmos. The Juggernaut by using some spells of Cyttorak’s powers was able to neutralize and mock Nightmare’s power (who was boosted with the cosmic powers level of Eternity) in his own realm. This feat proves that magical powers of Cyttorak could affect or neutralize the cosmic powers of the entity Eternity as well.

Onslaught (who is a powerful reality warper in his full extent) was afraid of Cyttorak's power and confessed that can’t kill the Juggernaut (New Excalibur #15 and X-Men #54)

Juggernaut required the most immediate and prompt attention of Onslaught to attack him, fearing for the infinite range of mystical power that made Cain the Cyttorak’s avatar instead of Xavier in its past memories. Due this, Onslaught caught Juggernaut and told him that he can not kill him because he is indestructible, as long as he stays bounded and protected by the power of the mystical energy of Cyttorak. However, Onslaught handled Cain’s magic links with Cyttorak to restrict his powers only by locking him inside the "Gem" although it was actually the Crimson Cosmos. Thus Onslaught created a massive psionic display where he appears ripping the Gem of Cyttorak from Cain's chest.

Onslaught told Juggernaut that he can not kill him because he is indestructible, as long as he stays bounded and protected by the power of the mystical energy of Cyttorak

Juggernaut is the only being in Marvel who is physically capable of killing any powerhouse such as Hulk or Thor by means of his physical force (punches, chokehold, bearhug, masterlock, etc) as is demonstrated in this thread. Not mention, Juggernaut is completely immune to any purely physical attack no matter its magnitude or intensity. Juggernaut proved to be invulnerable to fire, heat, cold, electricity, radiation, toxins, aging, disease, molten steel, Hulk's strongest punches, Thor's God-force blast (which caused Galactus to run away for his life on one occasion and broke the prime Celestial’s protective dome), Wolverine's adamantium claws, the maximum force of Cyclops' optic blasts (which is said had enough force to rip a small planet in half), molecular disintegration by a reality warper (Onslaught and D'Spayre boosted with a fraction of Cyttorak’s energy which granted him a nigh-unlimited power), even he could not be destroyed or wiped out from existence by the void of Oblivion or Entropy.

Well, these are the major feats of Jugernaut's strength, durability and magic skills, there are others that I will refer later.

it will continue...

Juggernaut vs Sentinels (What If V2 # 94. The Kingdom Of Cain)

In a possible reality, the Juggernaut solo can easily sweep the floor with all the sentinels.

Throwing out and smashing a T-Rex metal robot (All New Exiles Infinity, 1995)

Juggernaut tore the floor like paper (spider-man v1 #84, 1997)

Nobody can capture the Juggernaut successfully (Uncanny X-Men #194, 1995)

Juggernaut vs Nimrod (Uncanny X-Men #194, 1995)

Well, this is a feat of invulnerability; Juggernaut is invulnerable to Nimrod’s disintegration blasts. Given that Nimrod cannot defeat the Juggernaut by physical force by using the levitation to slam him into the ground with such unimaginable force or by trying to bury him under thousands of tons of steel, Nimrod was forced to use an ultra high frequency sonic beam to take down the Juggernauts' mind.

Juggernaut vs Cyclops (Cyclops #1-4, 2001)

Juggernaut is impervious to the maximum force of Cyclops' optic blasts which is said had enough force to rip a small planet in half.

Juggernaut vs Oblivion (Hulk v2 #172)

According to the original canon written by Stan Lee, Oblivion has shown to be unable to kill Juggernaut by erasing him into the void, confessing that his presence was an annoying infection inside of its void which can not be voided out of existence so he spat him out of his realm in exchange of a fraction of Cyttorak’s powers. For that Oblivion just created an illusion to deceive Juggernaut by making him believe he was aging or dying. This fact showed that Cyttorak has more influence on the Juggernaut’s existence than Oblivion even inside within Oblivion's own realm.

Small business with three beautiful chicks: Dazzler, Psycloke and Rogue (Uncanny X-Men #218, 1987)

When hit so hard by Rogue of the X-Men that the shockwave from the punch shattered every window of the street, The Juggernaut simply stood there looking down on her with his arms crossed. Then Juggernaut easily knocked out Rogue by slapping her with his arms extended.

The juggernaut ripped out the side structure of a building (one reinforced concrete column), which collapsed the whole building above Longshot. Miraculously Longshot was saved by getting caught in a triangle of life.

Rogue with a naughty kiss absorbs a portion of Juggernaut's powers which did not affect him at all.

Finally the combined power of these beautiful ladies: Dazzler and the telepathic assault of Psylocke focussed in the Juggernaut's mind, managed to take him down

Juggernaut vs Superman

Interesting, a prominent and famous comic book writer/artist John Byrne, who has worked on both companies Marvel and DC comics(he has worked the development of Superman, X-Men, among others importants characters, if you want to know who is this great comic book writer and artist, take a look this: http://www.comicvine.com/john-byrne/4040-1770/) thinks a possible dream match between Superman and Juggernaut in comic, but the most important, he recognizes the Juggernaut’s power or his physical dominance over his favorite superheroe: Supes, due the origin of his supernatural strength as the unstoppable Juggernaut: the magic, which is a correct observation. I quote:

Since posting this commission, John has added this bit of information:

“As I was drawing the Superman/Juggernaut piece I found myself wondering how a fight like this would really play out. Irresistible force vs immovable object — only the irresistible force is, as noted, based in magic. And while Superman has no SPECIAL vulnerability to magic (as some fans and writers seem to think), he IS as vulnerable to magic as any mere mortal. I don’t think this would go too well for our favorite Man of Steel!” Source: http://johnbyrnedraws.tumblr.com/page/10

Superman Vs Juggernaut commission by John Byrne. 2015.

Juggernaut vs Lobo by David Ocampo. Source: http://david-ocampo.deviantart.com/art/JUGGERNAUT-vs-LOBO-500486115 I put it because I really liked the drawing.

If you ask me, I think the strongest and unstoppable physical power of any franchise represented in comics that I've seen is embodied in the Juggernaut (considering the fact he can not fly, teleport and is not deified by the hand of the writer).... Many people will say me that is not true because the strongest are Hulk, Thor, Hercules, Gladiator, etc… or Doomsday, Supes, Despero, Black Adam, Eiling, Solomon, etc., well all of them are really very, very strong, however, the powers of Juggernaut in my opinion are superior of all them because it stems from an extradimensional magical abstract being called Cyttorak whose magical powers are limitless only in his realm (Crimson Cosmos) located within the Omniverse (he was banished eons ago under unknown circumstances because represents a serious threat to Earth-616 Universe and the planet Earth); due this he is a supplier of virtually limitless magic to many powerful white and black magic users (such Dr. Strange, Ancient One, Zom, Dormammu, etc.) and his avatar of the destruction: The Juggernaut as the only way to be worshiped and wreak havoc on Earth. Cyttorak's power is unmatched and did not have point of comparison with the limited magic of Sky Fathers, Elders Gods or Pantheon of lesser terrestrial gods as those who may have Black Adam and Captain Marvel.

...Cyttorak is one of the closest candidates to be the true Satan (Ie, the most powerful of all demons and extradimensional entities, outclassing Shuma Gorath), according to Mephisto. We see him very close to sit on that throne.

By the way, Mephisto's sarcasm was shattered when Colossus/Juggernaut (Cyttorak's new avatar in that moment) almost kills the Serpent. No to mention, before that match, Cain could have easily rejected the Serpent's possesion if he used the Cyttorak’s power which was inside him, but he chose not to. Simply, the Serpent was just a small entertainment to Cyttorak.

Second, Juggernaut don’t need to fly in order to move planets, he is easily a planet buster, I think if he wants to destroy the Earth or break it in half with his punches he could do it without any difficulty since he is a specialist to fracture tectonic plates. Only the shock waves of his punches indirectly (without hitting the ground) were sufficient to generate at least 8 Richter degrees earthquakes. However, he is not interested of destroying the planet Earth or the life in it.

Juggernaut can perform any feat of strength on Earth such as: to move or shatter mountains, to fracture tectonic plates by digging into the bedrock or anything which Hulk can perform, however, you will ask why he can not lift the Thor's Mjolnir hammer? The answer is not because he does not have the enough strength to do it, in fact, he has virtually limitless strength but although he exerts even an infinite upward force he would not even to move a millimeter simply because he is not deemed "Worthy".

The Indestructible Hulk #8

Precisely, when someone is not deemed worthy as the Juggernaut can not lift the Mjolnir and the explanation is as it follows: when an “unworthy” person applies an upward force, the Uru metal increases the hammer’s weight (gravitons) to exactly cancel this lift and the hammer remains unmoved. Ie, the hammer increases its weight to the same extent to the force which is applied to lift the hammer by increasing its gravitons emission, so this generates a weight equal to the force which tries to lift or move it. A force cancels other force, if he exerts an infinite force to lift the Mjolnir, the weight of the hammer will be infinite and will not be moved it.

Well, there are many more feats of Juggernaut strength but it's enough for now. I would even continue with feats of strength of Colossus as the Juggernaut, because he has good feats as well (as when he almost killed the Serpent, Rulk, among others) which demonstrates how powerful and brutal it means to become the embodiment of pure physical raw power of a powerful extradimensional magical entity as Cyttorak. That's all folks!

Supposedly this version of Juggernaut has almost of 100% of his real power, so much physical power that has no weakness to telepathic assaults with his helmet off.

His first small feat: With a double hammer fist created a crater of considerable magnitude and depth in the ground.

Honestly, I don't understand how this Juggernaut can overcome the Trion-Juggernaut. Trion-Juggernaut at least had more than 60% of Cyttorak's power and it supposed to be the most enabled Juggernaut to get the limitless potential of Cyttorak's power but now the Juggernaut is supposed to have much more power than ever. Could Juggernaut have truly gotten the potential of Cyttorak's limitless power?
