      There is a strange obsession with making "year one"s for everything going around. But of all the characters in comicdom, or even pop culture in general, that need a back story, Dredd has to be towards the absolute bottom of the list. Do we really want to know who he is, where he came from, what's under the helmet? I don't. But, this is a pretty harmless issue. It's pretty average fare, I guess I'm just more questioning the usefulness of a series following a young Dredd. I would say it's worth a...

      So let’s talk Year One stories.When I pick up a Year One book, I’m expecting to find the a story about the title character’s first year. They are young, fresh, and inexperienced.
