Origin
Doctor Judas Traveller was a world-renowned criminal psychologist and a noted philosopher. He claimed to be a powerful mutant and believed that he was immortal. While visiting Ravencroft, a maximum-security institution devoted to the study of superhumans who were insane, Traveller's powers appeared to teleport the hospital's personnel off the grounds and seemed to surround the institute with an unbreakable force field. He then challenged Spider-Man, claiming that he intended to kill all the inmates, including Shriek and Carnage. Shriek and Carnage. Spider-Man responded but was soon captured. Traveller then began to peel away the layer's of Spider-Man's mind. He would have been left a mindless shell if Ben Reilly hadn't come to the rescue.
Powers
It was originally thought that Judas Traveller was very powerful and had a multitude of abilities. Later it was revealed that his powers was fairly limited, but he has the ability to alter peoples perception of reality.
