    Joust was a member of the mercenary group the Stockpile, recruited by Brass to seize the armors of the recently killed Iron Man. When they arrived at Stark Industries, they were confronted by a time-displaced, younger Tony Stark and his ally War Machine. When Brass was incapacitated, Joust took command of the team, but was knocked out and turned over to the authorities.
