    Surprise From Loki

This story line has not quite been as good as I anticipated. It's still good and the overall story is great but it just twists and turns between the two series. Yet again I am not happy with the art. Di Giandomenico isn't a bad artist I just feel his art looks too squarish. I like how there is a lot of detail in the rest of the scenes (like backgrounds) but I'm just personaly not a fan of how he draws people.

ALL SPOILERS ARE BLACKED OUT JUST HIGHLIGHT TO READ

Anyway the story. This issue Loki goes off to confront Leah whilst Thor goes back to Asgardia where Volstagg has been made King. Loki tells Leah how he's sorry and that he hates how Thor brought him back to left him with everyone to hate him. He says he wants everything to burn. Leah and Loki then head of to see Surtur. Meanwhile we have an exert from Volstagg's war journal telling how he has to take responsibility now he's in charge. When Loki gets to Surtur, Surtur doesn't trust Loki. Loki the summons Thor and tells him to jump to him, only to let him fall into the fire.

This story was great although tailing of from the last issue a bit it gave a lot of insight into what actually happened and what's going to happen. I was very shocked to find out that Loki had turned evil again, although it was only a matter of time. I also like how Ikol (evil Loki in the form of a bird) was surprised by this. It was also nice to see Volstagg's thoughts in this issue as he's just been made king. It was funny to see although he was talking about his responsibilities he still had time to talk of food.

Final verdict. This is a brilliant issue and story wise is probably the best is the crossover so far. I would really recommend it and it's making me want to go back and read what I missed (after dropping the series) since Fear Itself. The story is shaping up to be one of the best crossovers of the year and should have a big impact on the Thor series'.

The GoodFollowing the revelations of The Mighty Thor #19, the war rages as Volstagg takes command of Asgardia and brings the fight to the Manchester Gods. Meanwhile Loki implements his own strategies, in only the way Loki could. The God of mischief certainly lives up to his reputation in this installment, as events take darker twists. The consequences of the numerous deals and double crosses are starting to mount and could fall in favor of either side at this point. Once again the story is super...

I think the overall plot of this crossover is a little confusing.  But let's ignore that.  This will be less of a review than an editorial. This story had a completely surprising twist.  I'm just going to describe it in detail in the spoiler block.  SPOILER WARNING: Click here to reveal hidden content. It turns out (unless he's lying) that Kid Loki is actually Evil Loki!  He's been playing everyone all along.  Unless (again) he's lying when he says THAT.  This revelation (or new trick) took me c...
