Tales of Lore
Whereas the last issue sought to reintroduce the characters from Asgard and give something of a jumping on point for the series, here we have a more firm estbalishemtn of a decent plot for the series. I haven't been reading Fear Itself, so I am not sure what exactly is going with this series, but aside from the imprisonment of thor at the beginning of the issue which I couldn't exactly place why it happened so fast (I assume it is explained better elsewhere) the fun here really revolves around Loki. A lot of this issue involves the telling of tales to Loki, either through the creation of an Asgardian war beast or of the taming of Thor's goats. After reconvening with the spirit of his former self Loki knows that something must be done and seeks his imprisoned brother's opinion
This proved to be an interesting philosophical discussion (though it was short) and it sets Loki off on a scheme of his own. It is interesting (and fun) to see Loki at work, not necessarily for evil in this case, but with at least a hint of mischief. This is a good issue and gives the series more momentum than the first one did.
