    Short summary describing this issue.

There are two things happening here.  A Boy meets girl love story that only a Jim Thompson fan like Brian Azzarello can tell and a Heist story worthy of any Vertigo Re-imaging.

P.I. Jonny Double is hired to watch a rich man's daughter.  Jonny becomes dangerously in love with her and goes alone with a Bank-heist her friends come up with.  Taking "Al Copone's" money since he is dead, it can't hurt anyone.  Wrong.  This becomes a crazy noir tale of betrayal all over the board.

Brian Azzarello has only two artists he works magic with.  Lee Bermejo ( Joker, Lex Luthor: Man of Steel and Batman/Deathblow: After The Fire) and  Eduardo Risso.  This is the first time both Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso worked together in Vertigo, this would later lead them on to their award winning 100 Bullets.

    Double Bullets? 0

This is the 1st time the 100 Bullets of Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso worked together and you can see their magic early off together.  Eduardo Risso knows how to draw a Brian Azzarello scripted.  The play of light and shadows reminds me of Sin City.  Some times only silhouette can be seen or certain colors pop out to highlight something.   This is a nice little boy meets girl story with a Brian Azzarello twist.  He has stated he has had influence from great crime writer Jim Thompson and you ...
