In this issue Jonah Hex fights to protect his bounty, so he can bring him in himself. Only when he arrives, Hex finds out that his prey may be an innocent man after all. The resemblance to Clint Eastwood still remains very close. The artists capture him perfectly in these pages. The art however is just one of the strengths this book has. It is the story that sells this issue. Well, up until the twist ending that is hardly a twist at all. That, and I would like to see this title go a little darker. Maybe as a vertigo book. Except without crazy mystical stuff clogging up the stories.
